I’m jealous, mine works. I’m ready for this movie to go away. His Dodge commercials are some of the more annoying ads out there.

Flange on December 2, 2013 at 9:31 AM

Well, at least he wasn’t disrepectful. I hope he walked away understanding what is like doing the news live.

BigGator5 on December 2, 2013 at 9:45 AM

Did he do any highly-topical George W. Bush jokes during the newscast?

Maybe it’s the firewall. “Jealous” heh.

GWB on December 2, 2013 at 9:57 AM

I hope Ed reviews this movie.

I guess Ron Burgundy is better than AJ Clemente, I suppose.

Respect to the anchor for keeping it all together.

blammm on December 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM

Heh…reminded me of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog doing the weather on a local Hawaii newscast.

JetBoy on December 2, 2013 at 10:26 AM

I only made it 8 minutes in…
What’s that thing the anchor keeps fiddling with?
Hopefully it springs a trap door or an eject button on Ron’s seat.

egmont on December 2, 2013 at 10:43 AM

That’s very cool.

For Ron Burgundy fans, this is like Disneyland and Christmas morning combined with a post-resurrection sighting of Jesus. The pure joy welling up in my heart right now is hard to put in words. (Yes, I just watched it all.)

Kind of like Idi Amin ending up in Saudi Arabia, or wherever.

Seth Halpern on December 2, 2013 at 1:05 PM

Can’t imagine that would make anyone want to see the movie.

No publicity is bad publicity. And I think it beats the pants off of the late great AJ Clemente.

3 minutes for me and all I could think was… “And?” I am not a Will Ferrell fan. He ranks with Jim Carrey, way down the list for me – I’m sure there are worse. Probably the only Ferrell movie I saw that I liked was Elf, and the only SNL clip that was humorous of his was The Cow Bell one, and that probably says more about the other actors than it does about him.

Logus on December 2, 2013 at 4:40 PM

The local St. Louis conservative radio station’s afternoon drive time show loves them some Will Ferrell. Makes it all the easier to channel surf during their ridiculously long intros and exit segments.

Logus on December 2, 2013 at 4:42 PM

It was kinda cool. He kept it respectful. Didn’t do anything over the top.
