They even got Cruella’s eyes and typical mouth expression down.

Hm, when you’ve lost the Central Park West

M240H on November 1, 2013 at 11:44 AM

They should’ve had Obama sitting down with his legs up on the desk.

txhsmom on November 1, 2013 at 11:45 AM

Just wait until the employer mandate kicks in… kaboom!

Not being an avid magazine, I looked at the price and thought it was pretty darn high relative to the last time I read a magazine.

But looking at that picture, I’d pay $6.99 just for the cover.

Oxymoron on November 1, 2013 at 11:46 AM

The New Yorker costs $6.99?!?!

mjbrooks3 on November 1, 2013 at 11:46 AM

As well as a can of beer in the PC’s CD cup holder …

“Shove another floppy in the 386 server… yeah, that’ll fix it!”

Busted a gut when I saw this on Drudge – already saved the original and got it emailed to techie friends :)

Don’t worry. That’s before subsidies.

The “grandfather” clock looms in the background. Brilliant!

leftophobe on November 1, 2013 at 12:31 PM

The Carney dweeb-minion is perfect. All the image needs is a prominently-labeled AOL 56K modem.

Get the cover laminated or framed. Then call your local hazmat service office to remove the rest of the magazine. :P

Another, equally applicable, New Yorker cartoon.

“It’s the Affordable Care Act, dear.”

Is that Kip from Napoleon Dynamite with the floppy disk?

“Don’t be jealous that I’ve been chatting online with babes all day.”

Hahaha

Actually, his quote is:

“Don’t be jealouth that I’ve been chatting online with babeth all day.”

I know you won’t believe this but our hospital in Florida has all the modern equipment you would expect, BUT their new medical records/order entry system is based on MS-DOS. You have to first find then click the BACK button to navigate from screen to screen. This system then routinely generates 7 page progress notes that say little involved in the patient’s care, but often reflect the doctors simply pasting and cutting etc., since none of us can type well enough to write cogent notes. All order entries are also completely messed up and often undecipherable, unless you happen to guess the cryptic code for the particular test you want ordered.

Awesome. Must share with New Yorker loving Obama (he would never do drugs!) supporting Mom.

talkingpoints on November 1, 2013 at 9:53 PM

Wow and big ears too. I knew he was not major league material when MoDo made fun of his ears and he whined about it to her.

jaywemm on November 1, 2013 at 11:32 PM

New Yorker needs to be careful not to lose it’s funding. Nobody pays the actual subscription for the smug-lication.

virgo on November 2, 2013 at 12:47 AM

Perfect!

RebeccaH on November 2, 2013 at 10:14 AM

You didn’t build that!

In order to cross her fingers, Seebs must have dropped the ice pick and scissors.
