Video: Woman nearly faints at Rose Garden ObamaCare rally

posted at 12:21 pm on October 21, 2013 by

According to one person on Twitter, she might have been a diabetic, as she had what looked like a pump on her arm.  Whatever the reason, Obama ended up quipping, “This is what happens when I talk too long”:

The woman was standing directly over Obama’s right shoulder, in the first row, and was on camera for the duration of the speech.

Obama turned around to make sure the woman was okay. He appeared to help steady her.

That he did … without saying much more than the Chip Diller response I predicted earlier. Let’s hope that the young woman recovers quickly.

Not to be conspiratorial about this, but isn’t this about the twentieth or thirtieth time this has happened at an Obama speech?

Are his handlers pumping goofy gas into the crowd at these things?

KingGold on October 21, 2013 at 12:25 PM

I think she’s suffering from a BS overdose.

This latest fainting and the Facebook “glitch” today are all part of the optics. Both looked staged.

Obama appears to be very jaundiced.

I’m guessing she locked her knees.

Or Zero cut one. Can someone do a fart track over his speech as a YouTube video? Viral gold right there. And would be less displeasing to the ear.

Meric1837 on October 21, 2013 at 1:36 PM

She didn’t look well but she appeared to be able to navigate the steps and walk away okay.

Everything is always about HIM….him as in Obama. This man has no shame.

Well, did anyone call the corpse-man?

DublOh7 on October 21, 2013 at 2:01 PM

It has been reported that the young lady who fainted is diabetic and passed out from low blood sugar. That being said, I don’t believe that the comments made here are aimed at her, but are aimed at the horrible ACA Health Control Tax and the President’s poor defense of it.

DAT60A3 on October 21, 2013 at 2:05 PM

Her blog says she’s a Berkeley grad. Figures.

Whatever the reason, Obama ended up quipping, “This is what happens when I talk too long”:

No, this is what happens on a hot day when you stand behind someone
whose breakfast consisted of hard-boiled eggs and arugula.

Sheesh…. what do ya’ll think BO stands for??? Her eyes looked a bit watery.

Many years ago, Fidel Castro was giving a speech and a flock of doves was released during the speech. One of the doves decided to perch on Fidel’s shoulder and the crowd took it as a good sign, as if Castro was blessed/meant to be their new leader.

Here we have a woman swooning behind Obama as he’s trying to bolster support for his plan that is spiraling downward out of control. One might say that the swooning was staged as a prop to show that the President and his law are going to save you, or, you could look at it as an unintended incident that coincidentally shows the public what is going on vis-a-vis this debacle.

Mr. Obama, here’s your sign.

Logus on October 21, 2013 at 2:50 PM

Typical stupid obama supporter, doesn’t have the intelligence to keep some snacks with here to regulate her blood sugar.

Funny. Usually my head just asplodes when I hear that much bullshit.
