Her dad is to blame for this. He has prostituted her out since she was a young child and then did that really creepy photoshoot that gave off this incestuous vibe.

What did anyone expect as she grew older?

ButterflyDragon on August 26, 2013 at 6:50 PM

Yep.. He whored her out to help bring back his own career. Not shocking that she would actually become a whore.

Illinidiva on August 26, 2013 at 10:03 PM

She’s the daughter of Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and a talking head on one of the cable channels. Z-big was about less of a success at national security than Billy Ray Cyrus was at country music. Mika and Miley both have jobs only because their fathers were famous for 15 minutes. That’s why it’s kind of funny to see these two having a cat fight…

joe_doufu on August 26, 2013 at 7:38 PM

Thanks. Sounds like I’ve been missing out on some really important stuff. Sounds like I need to pay a little less attention to Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious, the NSA, and the criminalization of journalism, and tune in to something that really matters.

Arnold Yabenson on August 26, 2013 at 10:30 PM

I dunno. I suppose you’d find out if you click the vid, but I ain’t gonna. That cover photo is too much already.

itsnotaboutme on August 26, 2013 at 5:02 PM

Nah, tried that. Got an MTV page with a video of some 20-something in lingerie. Nothing wrong with a 20-something in lingerie, but it seemed like she could use some dance lessons and a little vocal instruction.

Nice understatement lol :)

I lasted less than a minute. Miley is not the least bit sexy – the opposite, in fact. Besides, the music was unlistenable

Anti-Control on August 26, 2013 at 10:50 PM

She’s already a proud pothead, so it’s only a matter of time.

NotCoach on August 26, 2013 at 1:41 PM

Are you the HAH who lost a kid to drugs?

Capitalist Hog on August 27, 2013 at 12:22 AM

Didn’t Selena just appear in a movie with James Franco that depicted a three-way?

CurtZHP on August 26, 2013 at 2:47 PM

Quit pretending like you don’t know. You sound like you have the scene paused right now. You’re an adult male perving out on Disney trash.

Stay classy over there at 99.1.

Capitalist Hog on August 27, 2013 at 12:30 AM

What some in the infantile, ever-victimized crowd are upset about now! lol

Miley Cyrus’ VMAs performance was racist?

What a bunch of lowlife losers we are dealing with on the Left…

Anti-Control on August 27, 2013 at 2:13 AM

The real question is:

When will the ‘enlightened’ mtv mva’s perform hard core sex acts live on their stage?

Freddy on August 27, 2013 at 2:25 AM

Am I wrong for having a passing hope that Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber might be in a traffic accident together and that could be the end of that?

Very, very wrong.

Neither of them is irredeemable.
God loves them & wants to change their hearts.
And yours as well.

Needs help?

Please.

Now, MSNBC’s ratings? There’s something that needs help…

Racist paraphernalia.

I’m not entirely aboard the outrage machine here, and it’s simply due to the presence of Alan Thicke.

His video “Blurred Lines” caused outrage a few months back, and now it’s back, with a whole new slate of outrage. And this time it’s with an ex-Disney star.

I think this whole thing is more of a commentary on the VMAs themselves and what people expect. A commentary on the outrage of outrage over whatever subject, which started when Madonna cavorted to “Like a Virgin” with a wedding dress on.

Both Thicke and Cyrus are pretty sharp. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this stunt was designed to highlight the exact problems with the youth video culture today.

But then again, this could just be a tramp twerking.

Attention seeking whore trolls like Cyrus twerks.

Equivalent talents IMHO.

The hypocrisy of these tv leftists. Time to eat your own. You wanted this. You helped in creating it. Now you want no ownership over it? Pathetic. May the images be burned into you grey matter never to be removed. Burn.

What is it with Disney girls becoming complete and utter skanks the minute they turn 18?

Ol’ Walt’s gotta be spinning in his grave.

CurtZHP on August 26, 2013 at 1:42 PM

In her case she explained it during an interview. She was trapped in a mold made for her by her handlers. Her entire on screen and off screen life was carefully scripted and she didn’t like it one bit. It was not who she was inside and it wasn’t what she wanted to be. I guess she is just a slut forced into a wholesome mold.

I dislike the girl but, she was someone my daughter who is about the same age liked to watch so I know a bit about her. Now my daughter thinks Cyrus has gone too far and completely lost it.

I think that Cyrus may have a valid point. She was forced into a life role that wasn’t her. Is her current persona really her or is she rebelling now that she has broken the hold of her handlers?
I think Lindsay Lohan was also controlled and cracked. Heck, they computer generated smaller boobs for her when she did the “Herbie the Love Bug” movie because they felt she was to well endowed for a Disney teen actor.

Maybe Cyrus can pull herself together before she follows the path of destruction Lohan took. Maybe not.

I think it is as much the fault of the studios that force and control these child actors as it is anyone else. Of course the ultimate fault is with the parents who allow this abuse for fame and fortune.

Apparently, this one is trying to seek attention by attempting to “out” me, making references to my place of employment, etc. I guess she’s well schooled in the use of search engines. Color me impressed. One has to wonder what void in her life is filled by googling random people and sharing her findings on HotAir.

Didn’t one of our regulars get banned once for “outing” one of the trolls?

That is a big no-no. Good luck getting the squishes that run the place to do anything about it.

Freddy on August 27, 2013 at 2:25 AM

No, the real question is who designed the wardrobe? How did she get those shorts on? Did she think they looked good on her? Clothing can make one look good or bad and that outfit made her look very bad.

Dr. Frank Enstine on August 27, 2013 at 11:01 AM

I bet she joins the 27 club.

My thought about Lindsay Lohan, who just turned 27. Hopefully she gets sober for good and lives to the age she should.

People have been complaining about dirty dancing at least since Elvis and probably long before. And if you spent a decade playing a virginal imp on TV, you might be tempted to reach for the other extreme, too.

Was it in bad taste? Gloriously so.

Did she earn the vicious response that she’s getting in some quarters? No.

But is it fun to see so many self-appointed minions of morality rending their garments and gnashing their teeth? Heck yes.

The free market — ain’t it grand?

Miley Cyrus used to be a pretty girl. Now she looks like Justin Bieber wearing women’s underwear.

And this is the great insight of the left, Miley Cyrus needs help?

A segment of pop culture has been glorified, approaching four decades now, and MB thinks Miley Cyrus needs help?

And she needs help why? Because she’s outrageously crude, according to some standard that MB just discovered?

Was this standard not there when network television shows presumed that watching pornography was perfectly acceptable? Indeed that it was perfectly acceptable to make it part of the casual conversation? When it became the norm for network television to have every other minute punctuated by a double entendre so obvious that it barely deserves to be counted as a “double” entendre?

Was this standard not there for MB to discover when — just to pick a point arbitrarily — a certain segment of the culture decided Madonna’s reflections on virginity, lingerie and pointed bustiers were signs of creativity? When some of the most appalling lyrics ever written are justified by “experience”?

I have no idea whether this young woman needs “help”. But I don’t think MB or EJ know that either. This isn’t cultural critique gone awry because one misses the forest for the trees. This is cultural critique deceiving itself into thinking because it’s found a pine needle on the forest floor that it’s discovered something significant.

Exactly. OR , it’s a good bet that some near-term future story will be how Ms Cyrus offed herself, accidentally or purposefully !! :(

Seen it happen way too many times with out of control narcissists in the entertainment business.

Given all the important stuff going on in the world, why am I supposed to care about this squirrel?

trigon on August 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM

Get a load of this – Miss Cyrus is being held up as the poster child for racism. One critic says, among other things:

Last night, as Cyrus stalked the stage, mugging and twerking, and paused to spank and simulate analingus upon the ass of a thickly set African-American backup dancer, her act tipped over into what we may as well just call racism: a minstrel show routine…

For white performers, minstrelsy has always been a means to an end: a shortcut to self-actualization…

Cyrus’s twerk act gives minstrelsy a postmodern careerist spin. Cyrus is annexing working-class black “ratchet” culture, the potent sexual symbolism of black female bodies, to the cause of her reinvention: her transformation from squeaky-clean Disney-pop poster girl to grown-up hipster-provocateur. (Want to wipe away the sickly-sweet scent of the Magic Kingdom? Go slumming in a black strip club.)

RushBaby on August 27, 2013 at 1:02 PM

If Obama had a white daughter, she’d dance like Miley Cyrus.
