That was beautiful. I tried to learn this when I was in high school and still “played guitar” (I was never very good). A friend tried to teach me the “hammer on” technique but I was miserable at it. Upon reflection he was very patient with me considering my ineptitude. He still plays in Hollywood now on studio bands and has a few albums of his own. He’s very talented. If he was anyone you’d recognize I’d be gloating about it right now.

She could pass for a young Eddie. What could she play if she wasn’t so bored?

CTSherman on May 24, 2013 at 10:03 AM

Holy cow! Someone get that girl a band!

neyney on May 24, 2013 at 10:32 AM

It would be so cool if Eddie sees this and takes her under his wing!

That’s not the look of boredom, that’s the look of zoning out into intense concentration.

Fenris on May 24, 2013 at 10:39 AM

Pretty sure she’s not a dude.

RoadRunner on May 24, 2013 at 10:56 AM

Wonderfully talented. Hope she finds a less obnoxious musical instrument to play.

Does he have a son named Trev who had his own album out about 5 years ago?

Midas on May 24, 2013 at 11:03 AM

Eddie’s love child?

I don’t think she’s board. She just doesn’t feel the need to stick out her tongue and bob her head repeatedly like Billy Idol. At no point did she make the guitar a phallic symbol, so that’s good, too.

bmmg39 on May 24, 2013 at 12:14 PM

I hope she’s able to parlay that into a satisfying career in music.

Bob's Kid on May 24, 2013 at 12:26 PM

Real nice. Lets hope she has the creative to invent and not just mimic. ; )

ability to play will give her room to roam, we got to see Carolyn Wonderland grow up before our eyes down here

Mahna Mahna on May 24, 2013 at 8:54 PM

Pretty sure she’s not a dude.

It’s a unisex word now, dude. Girls, boys, doesn’t matter. We’re all dudes.
