I can’t imagine things without Daddy around here for a whole year. What these military families must go through…

cynccook on May 17, 2013 at 5:29 PM

That guy’s in for an audit.

“ was a good pitch, by the way..”

..better than our limp-wristed “I know nothing” POTUS does.

OK, I can’t watch that. I will cry.

sage0925 on May 17, 2013 at 7:21 PM

Do you guys REALLY have an ad on here for the AARP??? Shame.

sage0925 on May 17, 2013 at 7:22 PM

That was sweet! Thanks. In the midst of crappy news someone here on HA always manages to give us pause, appreciate it!

Thank you for that… I needed the laugh to combat my watery eyes.

dpduq on May 17, 2013 at 9:27 PM

That even managed to thaw my cold, icy heart.

SagebrushPuppet on May 17, 2013 at 9:47 PM

Can’t stop replaying it! Thanks, AP….you ended what started out as a tough, irritating day with something to smile and feel good about. Way to go.

Other than military families themselves, nobody knows the sacrifices, the pain, the sadness that the families endure when their moms and dads are away serving our country.

God bless out military families.

BigAlSouth on May 18, 2013 at 5:59 AM

Bless OUR military families.

(Can’t type. Something in my eyes)

BigAlSouth on May 18, 2013 at 5:59 AM

So sweet. Thanks for the reminder of all the good things still going on in the world.

The guy keeps saying “that’s amazing”. Not really. Just a man who loves his daughter and a girl who loves her dad. It’s the way normal people are. The moment is fabulous – thank you, Ed – though something must have got in my eye right at the end. But it really isn’t amazing – it’s the way it’s supposed to be.
