Jay Carney in 2007: “Scandal, Power and the President”

posted at 3:18 pm on May 14, 2013 by

Good times:

In Washington, scandals metastasize, growing and changing until we can’t remember what they were about in the beginning. A bungled burglary became a cancer on the presidency, forcing Richard Nixon to resign in disgrace. A money-losing Arkansas real estate deal led to Monica, a blue dress and Bill Clinton’s impeachment. Already, the furor over the dismissal of eight U.S. Attorneys has shifted focus from the crass but essentially routine exercise of political patronage to the essential project of George W. Bush’s presidency: its deliberate and aggressive efforts to expand and protect Executive power.

Today, Carney chided a reporter for shaking her head as he spun like a top.

Oh, for a reporter to just pull out his/her phone and read that off to Carney standing behind his podium.

Prediction: Carney is gone soon. Replaced by Jim Messina. He’ll just stand there with that creepy smile and his ObamaScares hands.

Jay Carney knows which side his bread is buttered on. I’ll give him that.

Haha. That’s my favorite. “Furor” over 8 firings.

How many did the Waco chick fire?

And don’t forget those lips.

Ummm… you guys just don’t get it, do you. Notice how the real scandal that was bitch slapping Obama on a daily basis due to the whistleblowers testifying, is now barely mentioned at all. Obama had these scandals released a bit at a time, with the plan that he can pass the buck on them, while creating major diversion from Benghazi. He counted on clueless conservatives OD’ing on these petit mals, til they lost the thread on Benghazi… and you’re all responding as he needs you to. Just like Romney and the RINOs in the senate and house did.

Toss his kiester to the kurb — his wife has a great gig at ABC-News.

Just imagine the household hilarity when ABC exposed the 12-version talking-points — priceless!

Wow, I really wonder how Carney 2007 would view the Obama White House.
