Video: Tucker Carlson fly fishes in Central Park

posted at 11:56 am on April 15, 2013 by

Tucker, who founded The Daily Caller and co-hosts Fox & Friends Weekends, took a time-out to do a little fly-fishing in Central Park this week. A YouTuber named Joey Boots approached him, wondering if such an extracurricular activity is legal (it is). The clip is mildly confrontational at first, but Tucker quickly reverts to his standard jovial mood and evangelizes the young videotaper on fly fishing for a bit.

I’m glad to know a) that New York City actually still allows this kind of recreation and b) that news of Tucker Carlson fly fishing can make the Hollywood Reporter.

He’s still a clown prince. Or maybe just an earl.

Here’s a guy fishing for carp in the Los Angeles river, which they call “Tijuana trout”. He actually eats the damn thing. He’s probably no longer living.

Carp? It’s already an ugly, stupid fish. But out of the L.A. River? Yikes.

Evidence that Tucker is – even with an abnormal upbringing (i.e. bags of $$$$) – a pretty normal guy. He’s always struck me as very reasonable, polite, honest, clear thinking, etc. I get the same vibe from folks like Jonah Goldberg, VDH, Bill Whittle, etc. Our side, IMHO, is immensely benefited by having guys like Tucker et al, on it.

“Do you catch the flies yourself” HAAAAAAAA!!

How can anyone with a brain still live in NYC?

So fly fishing for carp in Central Park is legal.

Is stalking people in Central Park legal?

…and a bottom feeder too!

There’s just no end of fine dining goodness from the lowly carp.

roy_batty on April 16, 2013 at 10:47 AM

What? He can do that in New York without getting fined?
