Video: Imagining the next wave of terrible Hollywood fairy-tale remakes

A minor classic from Red Letter Media, the same guys responsible for those brilliant feature-length “Star Wars” critiques. If we ever end up with a “Humpty Dumpty” movie, which seems all too plausible after watching this, the blood is on their hands.

There’s an F-bomb tucked away somewhere in here so please observe your content warning.

The sad bit is that ‘The Wall’ sounds kind of awesome.

Well, the first part.

Jokes are now real, y’all.

Nethicus on March 25, 2013 at 11:23 AM

I haven’t seen any of them. But are they worse then all the stupid comic book movies?

Blake on March 25, 2013 at 11:36 AM

If anyone here believed that joke at the end, that’s not a reflection on you.

That shows how pathetic Hollywood has become.

I’m still waiting for the remake of Arachnaphobia with Ms Muffet and her curd fed flamethrower. It’ll be whey cool!

CitizenEgg on March 25, 2013 at 11:55 AM

They haven’t made a violent, scary Pinocchio yet? Really? Go watch the Disney film again. That whale scene is terrifying to any child.

Meryl Yourish on March 25, 2013 at 11:59 AM

Sorry guys, “jokes became real” 5 years ago.

Ufdaubet on March 25, 2013 at 12:05 PM

I could see an African American actor playing Pinocchio. Hey, I have a perfect candidate for the role!

Archivarix on March 25, 2013 at 12:06 PM

Okay, I admit it: In the Wizard of Oz, those flying monkeys with the creepy song scared the shite out of little me. I had to get up and leave the room.

Blake on March 25, 2013 at 12:22 PM

Couldn’t be any worse than that Bible series. What a load of horrible steaming inaccurate crap that thing is.

John the Libertarian on March 25, 2013 at 12:26 PM

I am done with the entertainment indusrty. They can go fcck themselves.

Red Letter Media is the best thing ever. I can’t get enough of their stuff. Their newest venture, “Best of the Worst” is simply awesome.
