@BarackObama’s latest “non-partisan” tweet

posted at 5:31 pm on March 21, 2013 by

Remember, OFA — ie, Barack Obama’s former presidential campaign — is now an “independent” and “non-partisan” group that does not speak for the White House or the president, so don’t ask Jay Carney about it.  OFA is so independent, in fact, that it still controls Barack Obama’s twitter handle.  Here is Obama’s (but also sort of not Obama’s) latest “non-partisan” tweet:

You, too, can experience such non-partisanship in person! On a quarterly basis!  At the White House! All for the low, low price of a single $500,000 contribution to this outside group.  Ah, memories.

Excuse me, but did you just tell the Republicans to pass a budget? And protect the middle class?

Now that’s rich.

M240H on March 21, 2013 at 6:14 PM

RT if you agree: The Senate GOP should stop trying to tear down environmental progress & pass a clean budget that protects the middle class.

If if RT this, you expose yourself as not understanding that it only takes 50 votes to pass a budget and there are no filibusters.

But if your target is Low Info voters…success!

I think they should stop abusing their spouses and kicking puppies and then pass a clean budget.

deimos on March 21, 2013 at 6:36 PM

Suchj a petty little boy this barrack obama…….

crosshugger on March 21, 2013 at 6:46 PM

Should it start trying to do that so that they can stop trying to do it in accordance with Obama’s wishes? Hard to stop doing something that you’ve never started.

That’s hilarious. It’s almost like there are boxes to be checked off.

Wow. He’s sounding more and more like Capt Queeg every day! Does he have any clue whatsoever what is going on around him? At all?

scalleywag on March 21, 2013 at 7:47 PM

I think something just hit the wire a few minutes ago…OFA will not be releasing the names of its donors (transparency I think…I used to think I knew the meaning of the term but I guess I was wrong).

Coal mining is environmental rape, I’ve been told. So Republicans are rapists.

Someone should buy him a pair of balls for May Day. No, no, no, like ball bearings. You know, like Queeg had. Then we just need to hack TOTUS and get him talking about strawberries…….

GWB on March 22, 2013 at 9:58 AM

Ah Yes, we almost forgot to keep saying “Middle Class” whenever possible, now that the election is over.

“Hey- Here’s a shout out to the middle class”

Himmler smiling.

But you DO know the meaning of the term! In Orwellian Double-Speak, it’s the just the reverse of what it used to mean!
Or, if your reading tastes run a bit more graphically, think Calvin and Hobbes’ “Opposite Day” over a longer period of time.

It calls for a ReTweet with:

Hey, we could just approve the ones the Seante passed. NVM.

It is also a concise lesson as to why, all across the Western World, liberals still dominate the agenda despite four decades of pedalling infantile, socially destructive, economically destructive ideas.

They lie audaciously, don’t back down when confronted and don’t admit to having done anything wrong. They project their fantasies as reality and never concede that there might be any other valid point of view.

Aside from the theatrical pretense of the so-called “Barack Obama” tweets/twitter account author/s, what that one (like many more like them) contains is, like, someone tossed up in the air, political propaganda lines written strips of paper and then “tweeted” what fell together on a table top in the same direction.

That account resembles the adage of giving enough monkeys typewriters and eventually you’ll get Shakespeare. Though these tweets don’t at all approach Shakespearian, they do reveal a rather hypnotized-jibber-jabber that sounds like someone tapping out letters only to see what results.

You forgot the most important part: The MSM covers for them. That is all:)

Clink on March 23, 2013 at 7:51 AM

At YiZhangZhe: you are so very right about that.

And at Clink: you, too.

Equally troubling are those who Retreeted that pablum and didn’t/haven’t realized they’re repeating nonsense. None of those RT’ers even asked “Barack Obama” when was going to get around to, oh, you know, like, uhhh, writing and passing a budget. You know, stuff.
