Video: Street reporting at the Vatican

I left the media center rather late tonight, and I noticed this on my way out.  Not the big pavillion you’ll see in the middle of this; that’s been obvious since I’ve been here, and I’ve walked past it during the daytime on a few occasions.  That’s where the big broadcasters have their anchors, so that they can have St. Peter’s Basilica in the background.  But that backdrop isn’t just for big broadcasters, or even your intrepid reporter.  Here’s a short video showing some of the other activity just across St. Peter’s Square:

Hey Ed you should check the Vatican Post Office.

Vatican City’s post office released stamps for the Sede Vacante or Vacant See — the period when there is no sitting Pope. I wish I could get some.
