Fail: Obama mixes up Star Wars and Star Trek references, causing nerd rage

Enjoy this clip, folks, because this moment of cultural illiteracy from the coolest guy in the country is the only failure of his most low-information voters will ever hear about.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking the lede from a presidential press conference should be anything more substantial than this these days. The quality of questions prohibits it, and the electorate doesn’t demand it. Just be glad that today’s stupid lede actually includes an Obama mistake. So, here’s the “news.” Learn it, love it, meme it.
