All right — now CPAC is officially a party:
WASHINGTON, DC – Continuing their partnership for a second year, TownHall is the latest sponsor to return to Blog Bash for the 2013 event on March 14 during the Conservative Political Action Conference at National Harbor, Maryland.
“The Townhall and HotAir team is pleased to partner with Blog Bash again this year. Townhall.com and HotAir.com are two of the leading online destinations for conservatives and, as a part of the movement, it is important the media and bloggers come together rather than compete.” -Linlee Dubard, Marketing Director for TownHall.com, HotAir and TownHall Magazine.
TownHall maintains close ties with BlogBash and has featured many of the past winners and featured guests in their daily news coverage, including Michelle Malkin, Katie Pavlich, Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com and 2013 nominee, Scottie Hughes.
“TownHall understands the importance of investing in the right-of-center blogosphere,” said Ali Akbar, co-host of the event. “We appreciate their commitment in making sure these bloggers are recognized and are able to network with other bloggers, as well as industry professionals at BlogBash.”
TownHall joins with other organizations such as the American Conservative Union, Heritage Foundation, Tea Party Patriots, Americans for Prosperity and Breitbart.com in supporting the Blog Bash celebration. Nominees for the 2013 Awards include Dana Loesch for Best Activism Post of 2012; the popular film, Hating Breitbart for Movie of the Year; and Steven Crowder for Best in Show: Video, over his recent brawl with union members in Michigan.
