Ya mean the first 360-degree backflip that was intentional right?

By the way, what is the point of saying 360 degree? If they went more or less than that it wouldn’t be a flip.

Right. We can get a freakin back flipping car thread but not a Walking Dead one. Why? Because it is something people here might really enjoy for once. Can’t have that, can we?

Impressive…!

I’d like to see some of the failed attempts….

Nessuno on February 19, 2013 at 12:52 PM

Big deal.
I did that in a bread truck once.

NeoKong on February 19, 2013 at 12:58 PM

The use of the dash in the headline implies something that’s factually wrong — namely, that the world’s first 360 degree back flip happens to have been done in a car. ;-)

Remove the dash and it’s a correct headline.

That was cool.

I think it might be one of those snowboarding “xtrrrreme” sports things?

sauldalinsky on February 19, 2013 at 1:33 PM

Technically speaking that was a Gainer.

Bmore on February 19, 2013 at 1:59 PM

Didn’t the teaser trailer for this have him doing it over shipping crates? I’m still waiting for the second half of that video.

Also, I thought a red bull driver did something similar and had a pretty bad crash previously. Wasn’t that a back flip also? Is the distinction that the red bull vehicle was a truck or something?

TexasDan on February 19, 2013 at 2:35 PM

Practiced for four years? So, I guess he doesn’t have a regular job…

oldleprechaun on February 19, 2013 at 2:54 PM

Cool. I guess I can forgive you linking an NBC video this once.

Now… if someone could do that with a purely stock vehicle, then that’d be a really impressive feat. Big tires and a raised vehicle equals different center of gravity, thus making a flip more possible. Monster trucks do something similarly, though clearly not a complete flip and not on purpose.

Big deal.

NeoKong on February 19, 2013 at 12:58 PM

lolz

but did anyone do it with 30,000 pounds…of…bananas!

inviolet on February 19, 2013 at 3:18 PM

The gal says at the end, “Are you SURE that’s not a Tonka car?”
Finally, some skepticism from the media!

Jake and Elwood are impressed.

Christien on February 19, 2013 at 3:57 PM

I’d be impressed if they added a twist.

hepcat on February 19, 2013 at 3:59 PM

Obama could do that.
