I saw that over the holidays. Very good movie, and operettas aren’t usually my cup of tea. Didn’t get a chance to jot down my thoughts afterward, as family was in town, so I didn’t write a review.

House of Cards (2013)

Again, the more entertaining entertainment is on television these days.

Kevin Spacey at his best.

Very low budget… and it shows.

Starve the Beast.

No, its not a movie, its what any self respecting Conservative should be doing to send a message to the liberal world that we matter – and we will stop throwing dollars at them and their Democrat Party message.

Stop funding their cultural destruction by running out and wasting your time on any “must see” movie. Most aren’t anyways.

The kids though- they will still have to get their cartoon movies- can’t take their fun away. The adults, should pass on Hollywood- or at least control the urge until Redbox.

None. Most movies from hollywood are all garbage and a waste of money. Think ive seen 5 movies in the theaters in the past 5 or so years. Most of Hollywood is liberal elite bs and we’d all be best served if we did more to not support it.

Totally agree. The only movie review I need is a list of very few movies that are worth watching.

How is Lincoln? I am interested in the subject matter, but have doubt about spielberg.

I was always grateful that we even got 3 seasons(well, 2 1/2 really). The ratings were never good, and Fox is notorious for yanking failing shows prematurely(Firefly, anyone?). Plus let’s be honest. That third season was nowhere near as good as the first two.

If you liked Kevin Spacey in Horrible Bosses, check out Swimming With Sharks. He played an equally slimy a-hole boss in that.

Yes – seeing Spacey in Horrible Bosses reminded me of Swimming With Sharks – that was a crazy movie!

Just my thoughts & mine alone:
Horrible Bosses – liked. good dark comedy. Kevin Spacey is one of the bosses. he plays to type but it’s good red meat to me.
The Change-Up – liked. interesting premise.
June – liked. I like movies about pregnancies. good dialogue, if a bit unrealistic/fantastical.
Hancock – didn’t see. didn’t look interesting.
Extract – very funny! I like movies by Mike Judge.
Arrested Development – never saw, but apparently fans love it.

He’s hit or miss. Horrible Bosses(which is from the same director as Identity Thief) was decent. The Change-Up was lame though. Same goes for his supporting roles. Juno, good movie. Hancock, not so much. Hopefully the new season of Arrested Development later this spring is a return to form for him.
