On the subject of the new trilogy, is anyone else besides me gonna miss the 20th Century Fox Fanfare at the beginning of the movie? Sorry, but the Walt Disney Studios logo just ain’t gonna be the same.

Is it possible the new films will still be distributed through 20th Century Fox even though Disney is producing them? Although Disney bought Lucasfilm, Lucas may have had a contract in place that called for Fox to get the distribution rights to all Star Wars films. Disney would still be obligated to honor that if so, and it’s not unheard of for films produced by one studio to be distributed by another.

That was nothing compared to the two-part “All this war spending is destroying our free health care system” episodes. (No – I’m not joking)

Season 3 had some real stinkers but overall I like the series.

In the early-mid 80s, we got “The Ewok Adventures” made for TV specials, one of which starred none other than Mr. Oatmeal-and-Diabeetus Wilfred Brimley, natch).

20 years later, with Disney in charge, I foresee a stream of failed “Jar-Jar & Wicket” abominations to hook toddlers while more and more jaded and disillusioned fanboys join my ranks.
