I find it amuzing that the same people who gave us the Iraq War have the nerve to label Hagel as incompetent. It’s as though you all don’t think your excrement doesn’t stink.

The people agitating for another war in the Middle East are the ones in Tehran not the people here.

And how can Iran attack the US? Will it be with the nuclear tipped ICBMs that they don’t possess? Or how about their non existent nuclear submarine fleet?

In any case, Obama is many things but stupid is not one of them. Hagel is, well, if not stupid not very bright.

Never underestimate Mr. Obama’s smarts. His policy views? Yes. But his smarts? Nope.

With all due respect, if you had shown 1/10th the balls you showed grilling Hagel in the debates with Obama, we would not be in this cesspit they call an Administration.

AMEN!!

Obama got elected because he’s (half) black. The only reason Hagel isn’t a shoe-in for confirmation is because Hagel is white. He’d get confirmed in a heartbeat if he was a minority.

I for one think that Hagel’s demonstrable incompetence makes the “soul mate” case stronger rather than weaker.
