One: Against all odds, despite every fiber of your being telling you that no one could possibly be so gullible, it looks like Manti Te’o really might be innocent.

From the very beginning I knew he was innocent! This is what I've been saying. And almost no one here agreed with me. These kinds of hoaxes happen all the time. I know two people who fell victim to it and almost the same way that Manti did. This is not an unusual phenomenon at all! People ought to be more compassionate towards the victims. Yes, Manti was naïve, but really all he was guilty of is having a big heart and caring about someone he thought was sick. Manti seems like a really good guy!!

I think you’ve squeezed all the juice out of this story…a week ago. At this point, I don’t want to hear anything more about Manti Teo unless it is that he is gay and this was some weird coverup.

You know Te’o is going to be the next Bachelor, don’t you? Sure as the sun rises. That or some has-been starlet is going to glom onto him for the Cinderella/rebound story whose movie rights are being negotiated as you read this.
