Ryan’s for raising the debt ceiling.Bet all the effete elitist pseudo-conservatives at CPAC still give him a standing ovation.the reason we fail to advance a conservative agenda is because a third of us are phonies,and another third are just plain stupid.That leaves the rest of us to start a third party.

Nah, 80% is fine, several mulligans before you’re called “not conservative”. With Rubio and Ryan, they’re closer to 60% and, unfortunately, trending the wrong way with each focus group (amnesty, debt ceiling). Still, no “contempt” for them either, as that’s reserved for Obamao and his minions on Left.

When I say RINO has lost all meaning, I mean that originally (ie when I first heard the term) it was used to describe someone who identified as a Republican purely for the purposes of political expediency. They would prefer to be a Democrat or a Libertarian or something else, but for the purposes of getting elected in their state, or for the purposes of having a national profile, they identify as Republicans. Scott Brown is not a RINO, for example, because being a Republican is far from politically expedient in MA. He’s just a moderate Republican, and theres a difference. Ron Paul is a RINO, because he’d rather be a Libertarian, but because he wants to be elected and have a national profile, he’s a Republican. Jon Huntsman is a RINO because he would probably have run as a Democrat if he didn’t live in One-Party-State Utah. Thats the definition of the term I first became familiar with, and I prefer it to the “OMG HE DOESN’T AGREE WITH ME ON EVERY ISSUE SO HE MUST BE A RINO” definition. I mean seriously. Paul Ryan has like a 98% rating from the ACU, that doesn’t make him a moderate, let alone a RINO. You don’t have to be a bomb-thrower like Allen West or Michele Bachmann to be a conservative.

Get back to me when Palin is announced as the “keynote”….otherwise you can keep your so-called “conservatives” like Rubio and Ryan.

As for Krispy Kreme, he has no desire to even pretend to be a conservative so why would he ever show up at CPAC. He should just become a Democrat already. His act is so 2010.
