Again, the major problem is that the Republicans are trying to solve the problem and prevent damage to the economy… This is just stupid politically because it will not be accepted by Obama and his communist party.. Just pass two separate bills in the House… Bill # 1 is to extend the Bush tax cuts for those making up to $ 250,000 which will pass the Senate democrats and Obama will sign it… Bill # 2 is also to extend the Bush tax cuts for those making more than $ 250,000. The Senate democrats will not pass it or Obama will veto it and the economy will go to hell but it is Obama and his communist party who caused it…

Why don’t Republicans say that Dems aren’t ready. That it’s impossible for the Democrats to be ready before February and that’s only if the Dems get to work now. No discussion until February. Call their bluff. I can guarantee you the Dems woudld implode. Sure, there would be a blame game. How is that different from what’s going on now?

Smart man. Too bad nobody’s listening.

But, he’s totally right; it’s become frat rules pick-up football in Washington. One big game, focused on who can “get” the other side.

While the public that sent these clowns to Washington get the shaft.

What’s the country song, “[She] got the gold mine, I got the shaft?”

Well “she” is now the Georgetown party crowd, a/k/a the U.S. Congress. And it’s the public that’s getting the shaft.

And as bad as things look for the Republicans in the House, how the Democrats think they’re going to get votes for an even worse deal out of the Republican House members who just went through this is a mystery. If Obama’s paying attention, and not distracted by the laughter from the Democrats, he might see this as a message from the Speaker. “I can’t even pass a much better deal than you’re talking about; how do you think you’re going to pass yours?”

Does anybody still recall that the sequester idea came out of the Administration in the first place?

So they are laughing at ole Boehner, so what, I am laughing at Boehner. It’s like we are in some sort of hell. Maybe we are all dead and this is just the Devil’s way of torturing us. It’s the same play happening again and again, no matter what they say it is always next time. They will then stick it to O and the Dems forcing them to act responsibly. It’s just doesn’t ever seem to happen. Time for new leadership.

Boehner’s plan B was as worthless as the no plan of Obama’s. Conservative Republicans knew it was worthless and let it be known that they would not support it. Raising taxes and maybe spending cuts, but after raising taxes. We all know what they consider spending cuts, cutting one or two percent of what they were going to raise the spending and calling that cuts. While in reality the spending goes up and the fiscal deficit gets bigger. As for Mitch McConnell, his leadership of the senate Republicans leaves as much room for improvement as Boehner’s leadership in the House. These RINOs never lead just whine.

After we go over the cliff house republicans should pass a tax increase for millionaires and the ryan budget for dealing with entitlements and wait until the senate passes something. They have to remain united and should not give in on tax increases without cuts in spending on ALL ENTITLEMENTS.

Two groups are elated over the sudden and dramatic demise of John Boehner’s “Plan B” in the House of Representatives last night: Liberals — who are thrilled to see their opponents in utter shambles — and hardline conservatives, who view the development as a principled victory and a much-needed rebuke of the GOP’s weak-kneed leadership.

Following conservative principles used to be simply called conservative, but RINOs have caved and capitulated to left for so long that that it’s now “hardlined conservative” to follow conservative principles.

Reid and Obama, with a huge assist from John Boehner, have done away with a bicameral legislature. There is not House of Representatives any more. The people’s House has been turned into a place the sits around and waits for orders on what bills Harry Reid will allow to get to the floor for a vote. Then, when they need to raise the debt ceiling, they force Boehner to do it their way or be held responsible by Pravda and Izvestia, who will say anything Reid and Obama tell them to say.

I’m sorry, but I blame Boehner more than Reid and Obama. He’s the Speaker of the House, 3rd in line to the presidency, and he allowed himself to be treated like a chump by these 2 and received no respect from them at all. Perhaps the next speaker will understand the office and it’s responsibilities a lot better and refuse to buckle under to those 2.
