Steven Crowder and accusing the accusers

posted at 12:17 pm on December 12, 2012 by

Pinpoint precision from R.S. McCain on what yesterday’s burst of denialism from the left was all about. It’s not really denialism; it’s delegitimization.

What the hell is this silly gibberish? Are these people crazy?

No, they’re engaged in a systematic effort to create confusion and discourage mainstream journalists from reporting on the incident.

“Accuse the accusers“! Re-arrange the narrative of events so that a story that obviously makes the Left look bad is, instead, a story about the Right unjustly trying to make the Left look bad.

This perversion of the narrative makes the teller of the tale (“Crowder works for Fox News! Stranahan works for Breitbart!”) the pre-demonized focus of the story, the villain whose tale can’t be trusted by any mainstream, legitimate journalist. And you can bet that any MSM reporter who does try to report honestly on what happened in Lansing will be brutally excoriated by Media Matters and others on the Left for taking this incident seriously as actual news.

This side, the deny/discredit side, is one wing of the lefty response; the other is the “he had it coming” wing. It’ll be darkly fascinating watching them jockey for position as the collapse of the blue-state model brings more Crowder-ish encounters.

She had it coming with her slutty cloths and she shouldn’t been hanging around in that part of town!

WisRich on December 12, 2012 at 12:27 PM

I have been reading comments by lefties that the people in the AFP tent loosened the ropes themselves and that the union goons were rushing over to help the people get out of the tent.

There is not one single video supporting either of these crazy claims, yet 100′s of videos showing the exact opposite.

The union members were chanting for 30 minutes about tearing down the tent. I guess they are really bought into the “Big Lie” idea from Hitler, because this is a whopper and the MSM is buying it.

A variation on the projection theme. Interesting note: The violence escalated rather quickly considering no were no provocative acts from Crowder and crew, making it that much easier to kill them in self-defense. Maybe the Rev. Jackson and Special Ed will be there.

There are two things liberals can’t abide: Being questioned by others, and being forced to hold to their own standards. So they have to believe the actions of the union thugs yesterday could only have been ‘provoked’ in some way. The lamest is that Crowder ‘shouldn’t have there in the first place’, but some libs obviously and sadly believe that was sufficient cause for him to be attacked.

Au contraire. It would be good for the Left to witness the civility, patriotism and outstanding citizenship on display at a Tea Party gathering.

Yes, because as we all know rapist and union members cannot control themselves. It’s up to the victims to do that for them.

kim roy on December 12, 2012 at 1:32 PM

Crowder has put out a call to raise money for a reward for whoever rats out the thug that attacked him. He said that if the guy turns himself in, he will donate the money to whatever union cause the thug chooses. Otherwise is goes as a reward to the person that identifies the thug. This should be interesting.

There is no honor among thieves. Suppose there is any honor among union thuggies? I bet somebody drops a dime on that cretin.

Actually, they are welcomed at tea parties as long as they don’t disrupt the speakers or use violence and profanity. The last big rally went to had limited seating, but one of the seats was offered to a “visitor” who was taping the whole thing. The rest of us stood for the rally.

There have been many, many libs who tried to disrupt and shut down tea parties and all the tea partiers have done is called the police. Not one lib has ever been beaten up at a tea party, but libs have gone to tea parties and beaten up tea partiers and even bitten a finger off.

We all know this, but I hope the lying idiot is reading.

Did the report include the destruction of a man’s business, and the racial slurs directed at him by the ever-loving progs?

http://washingtonexaminer.com/article/2515746#.UMjanXez6f7

“Early today, Clint Tarver, known as “The Hot Dog Guy” here in Lansing had his business attacked by out of line and out of control protesters near the Capitol,” a blog post associated with a fundraiser to restore the hot dog cart explains. “‘It was when he returned to gather his equipment that the taunts and racial slurs began.”

When attacking the cart, the people were “yelling N*gger & Uncle Tom,” according to Michigan Republican State Committee member Nick Hawatmeh. Hawatmeh took a photo of the attack that you can see here.
