Immelt, of GE and Obama Jobs Council fame: Communist Chinese “government works”

Man, that Chinese communist regime — they’ve certainly gotten efficient at suppressing their own people, eh?

The one thing that actually works, state-run communism a may not be your cup of tea, but their government works.

the people in Tiananmen Square in 1989 were unavailable for comment. What an idiot, yes it’s easy for GE cuz they’re in bed with the govt so much they pay no taxes.

The one thing that actually works, state-run communism a may not be your cup of tea, but their government works.

Last year, there were over 100,000 protests in China…and those were only the ones that the state-run media were allowed to report.

400 million of the 1.3 billion in China live in abject poverty and I’m talking people living in Detroit on welfare are in heaven compared to what “abject poverty” means in communist China. Poverty in China means living in mud huts, one-room shacks, no electricity, no running water, no sewage, washing your few clothes in a stream, few-to-no educational or employment opportunities.

The average annual income is around $5,500.

The government has built ghost cities that could provide housing and employment for tens of millions of people, but they are completely emptied and patrolled by armed guards.

Vivisections and organ “donations” are common in Chinese prisons, work camps. Political opponents still get “disappeared.”

Forced abortions, poisonings, euthanasia, and infanticide of the undesirable children is commonplace.

While there are more property rights, members of the CP can demand to be your “joint venture” partner at whatever percentage they want with almost no legal recourse available.

Corruption is unbelievable and, as has always been the case, the dacha class has amassed unbelievable amounts of wealth. Hu Jintao, who just stepped down as the General Secretary of the CP, was revealed recently to be worth about $2.4 billion. Nice work for a representative of the “workers’ party” if you can get it.

There are 119 men for every 100 women. That kind of ratio leads to one thing: War.

Sorry, but I don’t buy your snarky canard… look at our own country… at least Chinese communists work for the Chinese… our business and government elites are actively working to displace Americans. American citizenship is a joke.

In less than 500 years, free market America took a raw wilderness and went to the moon. China had a 5000 year head start, but was handicapped with essentially a feudal system that continues today.

Liberty is one of the most powerful ideas.

Immelt can go to China or to Hell…yes, yes, it’s a repeat.

America went to the moon on Nazi and Russian rocketry.

Nazi in part, yes, but not Russian. And we had Robert Goddard doing early rocketry as well. Russians also grabbed a lot of Nazi know how, but were unable to seal the deal.

And in less than 50 it degraded to utter ruin…

Freedom and the free market are, unfortunately, a two-edged sword.

How about taking your freedom of speech, religion, assembly, pay you 1 dollar an hour, make you a slave labor, and make your family and children slaves labor… That is how 95% of the Chinese live under their communist regime… May be you need to go to China and become a Chinese citizen and enjoy the slavery…

PS: F*** you communist scum…

I agree with the 400 million Chinese living in the abject poverty that we cannot even imagine here but overall 95% of the Chinese live below the poverty line in US standards… The remaining 5% range from what we call here “poor” per the US standard to “extreme rich” and of course the “extreme rich” may be less than 10 million people overall are the members of the communist party and their families….

Quite true. When I tell Progs about the “abject poverty” in China, they will say that it cannot be worse than our inner cities because 1) the US is a mean country and all that or words to that effect, and 2) just as Iran doesn’t have homosexuals per Ahmandinejad, communist countries don’t really have impoverished people because the government provides a basic standard of living. **eyeroll**

As for comparing the overall populations of the two countries, I think average annual income pretty much says it all. I love when thugs like Trumka praise China. LOL! How many unions would agree to $5,500 annual incomes for their workers?

We classify a poor individual in the US if he or she makes less $ 12,000 a year which over twice what the average Chinese makes… In addition the poor in the US gets a lot of welfare which makes him or her averaging more like $ 25,000 to $ 30,000 a year when adding all the welfare benefits of food, housing, medical assistance, and of course cell phones, TV’s, car, internet, computer, etc…

Now some will say that life expenses in China are cheaper than the US which is true for the basic stuff but no matter how cheaper it is a $ 5,500 in China will still get much less compared to what a poor person get in the US…

Why would Immelt bother himself with issues like upward mobility. He’s got his. Who cares if they get theirs?
