So basically he was ignorant of the fact he was being heavily funded by middle eastern oil concerns.

It’s understandable really since such things can be complicated and but it does undercut political message of the film.

Great, another bunch of lies about fracking that will create believable urban myths much the same as Silent Spring did about pesticides. Damon’s so called facts about fracking have been thrown out in courts as unsubstantiated in law suits brought by the eco nuts. Yes, there are still some sane judges in the country. I’m sure there are a lot of depressed communities that would love to have an oil company come to their areas and provide jobs in the field. Go to ND if you want to see the growth that’s happened.
