Video: Chris Matthews still very Chris Matthews-ish despite Obama’s re-election

posted at 8:07 pm on November 26, 2012 by

Via News Busters, my favorite part here is his little disclaimer that “this has no bearing on the Republican Party” right before he goes full Godwin. It’s not a commentary on the GOP, mind you, just something he sort of stumbled across in his mental travels.

What an execrable human being. Today’s Left, America…you remember, the tolerant and open-minded ones.

Ugh.

Do you know how a porcupine is different from MSNBC?

A porcupine has it’s pricks on the outside.

Reading the news today is making my blood pressure go through the roof.

Didn’t watch it, but I’ll bet it says:
“Democrats and Obama are like Jesus, and Republicans are like Hitler…only worse”.

Courtesy NewsBusters:

MATTHEWS: The last person to say that– and I hate to– and this has no bearing on the Republican Party– and these references are always dangerous, but I’ll take it anyway– The last guy to refer to the black auxiliary was Hitler. Anyway, thank you Rick Hertzberg and thank you– During the ’36 Olympics, we had Jesse Owens and a couple other guys winning the Olympics and they were saying, “Well, they had their auxiliary out there.” Anyway, thank you.

I haven’t watched the video yet, but his behavior in this election makes our old friend Olbermann seem a model of sober restraint and judgement in comparison. it’s disturbing to watch a fairly sane man go completely nutso.

Chris Matthews’ mental travels is the shortest trip ever.

gsherin on November 26, 2012 at 9:05 PM

Chris Matthews was born into total ignorance and has been losing ground ever since.

deimos on November 26, 2012 at 9:09 PM

Jesse Owens was a Republican, Chris.

Connie on November 26, 2012 at 9:21 PM

This stuff is not limited to Matthews. I thought the Facebook liberals would calm down after Obama won, but it’s much worse now. They feel emboldened–sure that their view of the world is correct and they want to ram it down the throat of everyone else.
