BTW … Most people do not require months of in-patient treatment for Bi-Polar Disorder … even when it is real.

He was well enough to break the law. You do know resigning from Congress is part of his plea deal, having nothing to do with his “illness”. I think we only have his word on that.

Even moderate to severe BPD can be incredibly debilitating.

Without significant mitigating circumstances however, he’s not going to skate on federal CF charges.

It will be interesting to hear the testimony of his expert witnesses, who will be well known psychiatrists…

Years ago a scumbag in Florida wanted to run for office, but had a prior felony conviction (with hard time) hanging over him. One phone call to the Governor of NY had the felony removed, I believe, via a full pardon. Never underestimate the Corrupt-ocrats willingness to cover for their own.

well, Triple J decided that it would be good to have one. He did have one-that took place on the South side of Chicago…at night.
You know why he did that-rather than have it in the ‘burbs-or have one for the city and one for the ‘burbs? Most of his critics were likely to be white suburbanites…who would feel unsafe traveling to the ghetto(where he held it is a bad neighborhood even in the DAYTIME) @ night. By doing what he did-he could pay them no mind. I know know…I was one of them.
