If you want to strike fear in the hearts of the radial left media, simply disengage from them. No more interviews on “The View” or with Brian Williams or that moron who hosts Meet the Press. This means no more ‘gotcha’ questions or opportunity to spin answers from dupe republicans on the spot. The left can conjecture whats up with the GOP but will have nothing other than to spin BS out of whole cloth

The GOP needs a media machine that bypasses the left media. Reposition themselves. Seeing that Gingrich went on “The View” was the absolute wrong thing to do. Let em bring on the echo chamber guests the same way Pravda did with members of the politboro. We all know how that eventually turned out.

If you support the Democratic Party, and help it gain power, you get a pass. That’s the entire extent of the calculation.

It’s why fundamentalist, anti-abortion Democrats get a pass. It’s why billionaire hedge-fund Democrats get a pass. It’s why Democrats who abuse women, commit crimes, and make dozens of gaffes a week get a pass.

And the Genesis thing – the sun and moon and stars were not created until the fourth day. No way to measure the first three days, and nothing to measure them against. So, what did “day” mean for those first three “days”?

Does this support a universe that is billions of years old? I dunno; it might or might not – depends on what you believe.

And that is the fundamental dispute between science and a Creator God: what do you believe? I believe in the Creator God, and I believe in science. It is when science adopts belief and advocacy instead of scientific proof that the fights happen.

Unfortunately for democrats, the democrat party is actually filled with people who think that Guam will capsize any minute now, that food stamps produce wealth, who believe that “Cryogenian ice age” was produced by inadequate use of apple ipads, and that “mob rule” is enshrined in the US Constitution.

Believe what you will, folks, but “bizarre” is hardly too strong a word to describe this. And you can be assured that it will thoroughly disqualify him from ever becoming the leading light of a revitalized conservative Republican Party, no matter whether you think that’s right or wrong. He’ll never live it down, and any future run for higher office he may attempt will have this clanking and groaning along behind him every step of the way like Marley’s ghost rattling its spectral chains.

They cannot have the first woman president.

They cannot have the first Asian-American president, whether it be East Asia or South Asian descent.

They can’t have it because the Democrats see the racial playbook as having worked twice with Barack Obama, and they want to use it again, and again and again, whether it be other races, the female gender or any other options (though I’d bet they put up the first openly LGBT nominee before they put up the first aggressively outright atheist). They want to anoint Hillary, or their Hispanic candidate, or their Asian-American candidate, with the same Absolute Moral Authority that they and the media bestowed on Obama in 2008.

That’s why Marco Rubio has to be destroyed and why if the numbers start looking better for Bobby Jindal, he’ll face the same kind of treatment going into the 2016 election. For a party that lives identity politics, the Democrats can’t allow one of their future options to be lost from the race-and-gender card deck.

I’d agree that many leftists do believe what you do about him, however, but that’s not the only reason he will get a pass on this from them – they automatically will be less critical of him, even if they were to grant that his sentiment was sincere, because he is one of their own.

In fact I’m starting to suspect that being a left winger requires a degree of Freudian projection that could nearly spawn a completely functional twin if focused into an empty space rather than an opponent.

I don’t remember where it was posted, but the parties are not that far apart in polling on religious belief. It’s just that the far left uses religion to build a caricature of their opponent which they can then attack rather than the actual arguments. They equate denial of whatever politically expedient pop-”science” is in vogue (which now is “climate change” not “global warming” as the models fell apart on that) to denial of theories that are actually falsifiable and long standing. In fact I’m starting to suspect that being a left winger requires a degree of Freudian projection that could nearly spawn a completely functional twin if focused into an empty space rather than an opponent.
