So While We Conservatives Are Grappling With…

posted at 6:33 am on November 16, 2012 by

51 percent of the country disagreeing with us on tax policy, losing ground on the life issue, if Rasmussen’s report is right, a loss in the culture war as stated by Bill Bennett, too many of us on my side of the aisle are engaging in what has become our genetic modus operandi – the circular firing squad.

But though we may find ourselves in 2012 as outnumbered, electorally speaking, outspent by Hollywood and labor unions, and totally outmanned on campuses and schools everywhere, stop for a moment and ask yourself, in the middle of your pity party, what it would be like to be an Israeli right now. Hundreds of rockets have been launched indiscriminantly into Israel from Gaza, mostly Iranian-supplied, and the only reason there have not been more casualties to innocents is because of the success of the Iron Dome missile defense system. You know what missile defense is, right? It’s what Barack Obama specifically took away from our Eastern European allies in order to accomplish exactly squat in our relationship with the Russians. But I digress. When you are fortunate enough to get the missile warning siren, you have between 15 and 65 seconds to get to shelter, depending upon where you live.

So Israel has called up 30,000 reserve forces and the country is mobilizing for war with Hamas, and one that will deal a sharp blow to stop them from becoming a security problem in the near future. Yet this is how the international mainstream media handles the crisis. If you are a conservative, you simply cannot watch this interview and conclude that even when outnumbered by fools at best, and evil radicals at worst, you still have to draw a line in the sand on principle and fight. It’s a good lesson to conservatives here.

We are all Israelis today, and pray for the safety of those who will be tasked to do what has to be done in order to protect their nation.

It was all I could do to force myself to keep watching the video. Every single question that tool asked her presumed Israel was at fault just for defending itself. Every. Single. Question. She, however, is clearly accustomed to that nonsense and did a great job staying calm.

I don’t get why the world at large is so upside down this issue. Blaming Israell for the “poor timing” of its “attack” when Hamas is the aggressor? No acknowledgement by the interviewer that Hamas started this, as always?

Ugh, Israell = Israel

Upside down ON this issue.

There are plenty of people who simply don’t believe Israel has the right to defend itself.

Decisively, which requires that one side be completely humiliated and militarily annihilated, likely necessitating large civilian casualties.

Israel is capable, but does it have the will? They need to make the moral argument that the blood and deaths of “Palestinian” civilians are on the hands and heads of THEIR own “Palestinian” leaders — the ones who initiated the attack against Israel.

Only two ways to end this: all-out nuclear fire, or Jesus coming back and this time as an unstoppable ass-kicking King of Kings.

We are all Israelis today,

It’s a good artice Mr. Patterson but I’m afraid only about 49% of us are Israelis today.
God help them. And God help us.

Time to give Obama another peace prize.

onomo on November 16, 2012 at 11:15 AM

Now that’s the kind of woman I’d like to see be promoted for a top administration position in the US such as Secretary of State. Can’t imagine Bibi ever thinking he has to intercede on that Lt. Colonel’s behalf and tell people to stop picking on her as Obama felt compelled to do in the case of Susan Rice. Of course, that would mean Obama would have to choose a woman from the GOP.

What a liberal journalistic pr*ck.

She should have told him to get off his *ss and come visit Israel. In fact, she should have offered to send him airline tickets to come spend a few days living as an Israeli. When he stammers in his waffling, she should have called him a chicken sh*t.

Hamas and Iran must have felt pretty good about their chances once Obama won again. They don’t expect him to help Israel at all.

They will only be able to fight these dogs off for so long….

IMHO it is past time for Western journalists who assist terrorist to lose their noncombatant status. Our lax attitude toward civilian traitors even since Vietnam has been disgusting.
