Only an ‘intellectual’ could be this stupid.

He never offers one piece of evidence other than “bullsh*t” and the claim he has spent a lifetime studying the soviets. Standard leftist. Well at least he did show he studied the soviets by never actually dealing with the question directly.

There was an old man of Esser
whose knowledge grew lesser and lesser.
It grew so small
he knew nothing at all
so now he’s a college professor.

This guy is actively on the other side.

rbj on November 13, 2012 at 2:06 PM

Well to the communists a crime committed to benefit the “common good” is not really a crime.

So a massacre of a farm community to make way for a “glorious factory” as part of a 5 year plan is not a bad thing.

The only true crimes are the ones committed by the individual against the state eg thought crimes.

Joseph Russo III on November 13, 2012 at 2:08 PM

Charles Manson didn’t kill Sharon Tate either.

CurtZHP on November 13, 2012 at 2:11 PM

And Obama is not a communist.

Fuquay Steve on November 13, 2012 at 2:16 PM

…and, millions of those not murdered by Stalin’s regime roll over in their graves. My parents were eye witnesses to the atrocities this fool is claiming never happened. What’s worse, is these young twits will buy into this lunacy.

Of “Holodomor”

JeffWeimer on November 13, 2012 at 2:22 PM

Look at the Soviet strategy in World War Two. War is war but can anybody look at that and see regard for the individual?

Charging enemy lines with two soldiers “sharing” one gun?

The higher ups in the Soviet Union had absolutely no regard for the individual.

Joseph Russo III on November 13, 2012 at 2:41 PM

I guess Stalin didn’t join Hitler and invade Poland either.

Rucking Fetard.

Resist We Much on November 13, 2012 at 2:41 PM

My dad told me a story about one of his old teachers in high school who was imprisoned in a Soviet Gulag because he was a Polish Nationalist .

If only the ‘intellectual’ in the video had been around to tell him he wasn’t being oppressed, but put to work .

EnglishRogue on November 13, 2012 at 2:41 PM

Disheartening to hear idiot students clapping at the end, but I did hear a large chorus of boos. Unfortunately, the people in charge of steering this boat agree with the clappers.

Hannibal on November 13, 2012 at 2:54 PM

This guy must be such an awful “researcher” that he has to resort to this cheap ploy for attention.

Blake on November 13, 2012 at 2:54 PM

So this guy is a “Grover” and the hideous abortionist from Philly is a “Kermit” and now we find that “Elmo” is not quite aboveboard.

Coincidence, happenstance, enemy action.

Uncle Pinky on November 13, 2012 at 2:59 PM

when commie assholes like this start saying bull shite lies people need to call them out on it.

The students that boo should do more and shout this idiot down when he spouts crap like this.

the people that clapped should also be shouted at. What a joke.

johnnyboy on November 13, 2012 at 3:05 PM

Hitler didn’t commit any crimes either but the followers sure did. When the Russian Army went home from WW II Stalin was afraid they would control the government and they ended up in Siberia. Stalin also took 25,000 American POW’s from the German prison camps back to Russia and Eisenhower never did a thing about it because of Truman liking Stalin and he called him, “Uncle Joe”.

mixplix on November 13, 2012 at 3:33 PM

Yeah, you can’t prove anything you didn’t see with your own eyes. By that logic, 9/11 didn’t happen – David Copperfield made the twin towers disappear, and aliens took the people. All the smoke and debris? Well, that’s just New York…

Marcola on November 13, 2012 at 3:45 PM

Yeah it was all a confidence trick….

my white russian refugee step grandma was just spreading gossip….

if order ever breaks totally down they’re gonna pay.

We lost to a guy who used tribal passion to win he balkanized the nation hard.

My tribe is pretty easy going on identity I guess that’s why it lacks power love Locke hate Marx.

let it burn

harlekwin15 on November 13, 2012 at 4:05 PM

I blame the Joos!

Oh, wait a minute. So does this guy (and most of the world [for all its ills {through time immemorial}])

Rixon on November 13, 2012 at 4:27 PM

Are the students actually paying for this…?

Seven Percent Solution on November 13, 2012 at 4:34 PM

Hell, the leading historian in England, a winner of dozens of awards, Eric Hobsbawm, recently died and was widely praised for his efforts. Throughout his life.

Even though he defended Stalin and said that the deaths of millions would have been “worth it” in the name of communist utopia.

SteveMG on November 13, 2012 at 4:48 PM

Liberals always rewrite history to suit their ends. And we always let them, for some reason.

squint on November 13, 2012 at 4:58 PM

Stalin did not commit any “crimes” because everythign he did was “legal” in the system he worked in.

krome on November 13, 2012 at 5:00 PM

“Stalin didn’t commit any crimes and you can’t prove that he did”

He does have a point. I cannot call on any of my great uncles that starved under Stalin as witnesses to his crimes.

Freddy on November 13, 2012 at 5:06 PM

When you shoot every 10th conscript in the forehead to ensure the survivors follow orders, I’m pretty sure there’s gotta be an illegal act in there somewhere.

Then of course there’s the Great Purge of 1936 – 1939.

Rather than litigate the 70 years of history set in concrete….I quickly remember that there’s no point in arguing with crazy people.

Afterseven on November 13, 2012 at 5:24 PM

“Stalin didn’t commit any crimes and you can’t prove that he did”

Absolutely, difficult to cross examine a dead man…hard to testify after you are dead…but the trains ran on time (yeah I know it was Mussolini, but Stalin was obsessed with that also)

right2bright on November 13, 2012 at 5:25 PM

They have his signature on thousands of kill list orders.

Stalin was proud of everything he did…his followers should be too.

JadeNYU on November 13, 2012 at 5:28 PM

“One man’s death is a tragedy. A few million deaths is a statistic.’
-Attributed to Joseph Stalin.

Oh, OK….never mind.

ugottabekiddingme on November 13, 2012 at 5:36 PM

What happened earlier this month I know will have a profoundly adverse affect on this country and the world for the next 20 years. There will be people in this country 25 years from now that will swear we would have been lost if not for Obama. I know because of how people regard FDR to this day.
This clip is just a little titanium reinforment.

onomo on November 13, 2012 at 5:42 PM

Stalin did not commit any “crimes” because everything he did was “legal” in the system he worked in.

krome on November 13, 2012 at 5:00 PM

Yes. Stalin was the law.

The fact that pretty much all of his actions defied and acted opposite to what you and I would call the most basic moral restrictions on humanity is irrelevant. So this moron has a point in technicalities on Russian “law” (such that a thing existed) under Stalin that no crimes were committed, they was just an extraordinarily high body count caused by non-crimes of the state.

BKennedy on November 13, 2012 at 5:45 PM

Hmmm. They quote Goebel, as if the arributed quote they is unquestionably true. While apparently everything else in history is bullsh*t.
Why did I ever stop watching wrestling?

onomo on November 13, 2012 at 5:47 PM

Is this guy like going to be our new secretary of commerce or some such?

onomo on November 13, 2012 at 5:48 PM

So now it all comes out. Stalin was actually a libertarian that hated communism and was devoted to civil rights. While successfully coming up with a cure for cancer he came across an incredible idea for a renewable fuel source he could give to the whole world! And didn’t he also invent the slinky?

onomo on November 13, 2012 at 5:58 PM

nothing differentiates today’s democrat from the Stalin regime. not one iota.

tom daschle concerned on November 13, 2012 at 6:05 PM

Well, there is this difference:

One wishes they could do what Stalin did.
The other did what Stalin did.

lorien1973 on November 13, 2012 at 6:33 PM

I think it’s the scattered applause that I enjoyed the most.

(Go boo people! *represent!*)

Wow. Erm.

Now you’re sounding about as well-informed as the gentleman in the video.

I believe it’s referred to as ‘democide’

Worth googling for
