Judge orders reinstatement of booted election officials in Philly, GOP says

posted at 10:15 am on November 6, 2012 by

This, from Fox News:

A Pennsylvania judge is issuing an order to reinstate Republican election officials across Philadelphia who allegedly were ejected or refused entry by on-site Democratic voting chief judges, GOP officials tell Fox News.

In response to this story, popping up on Twitter all morning:

It is being reported that Democratic Party operatives are evicting court-appointed Republican poll watchers from polling places in Philadelphia. Specifically, this reportedly has happened in Ward 32, Div 13; Ward 43, Div 14; Ward 56, Div 1; Ward 56, Div 22; Ward 32, Div 28; Ward 32, Div 28; Ward 12, Div 17; Ward 39, Div 1; Ward 24, Div 9; Ward 18, Div 25; Ward 43, Div 14; Ward 29, Div 18; Ward 65, Div 19; Ward 20, Div 1; and Ward 6, Div 11.

This is one of the reasons I’m usually skeptical about flipping Pennsylvania. You gotta build up quite a lead in the ‘burbs and Western PA. If you’re in those spots, get out there!

That’s alright. The voters are reinstating the GOP back into the White House.

Trouble is they’ve already juiced the dem vote in the mean time. Re-instatement after the damage is done doesn’t take away the damage.

Yes, you need 2%-3% to beat the corruption. Just sickening.

Will the GOP monitors be able to spot the dead voters?

faraway on November 6, 2012 at 10:21 AM

And in the meantime they’ve had, what, an hour to work whatever mischief they liked? Sounds like the setup for a math problem: “If one Democrat can cast one fraudulent vote for Obama every 45 seconds, how many votes will six Democrats cast in one hour?”

Those voted by absentee ballots. The brain-dead ones are the ones showing up at the polling places.

The Black Panthers are at it again in Philly. There is a video on another website. Our Attorney General is just fine with this kind of behavior. I sure hope that Dick Morris is right and it will be a landslide for Romney.

SC.Charlie on November 6, 2012 at 10:38 AM

Okay, I’m gonna say what everyone’s thinking. How in the hell do you let yourself get thrown out from any polling place to begin with when demanded of you by a Democrat? How? You just swallow hard and obediently walk out?

GOP needs to man the phuck up.

Philly is like Chicago’s special little sister. Just as corrupt but not as adept.

They’d steal whether they needed to or not simply because the mechanisms are already / always in place. Like a backup generator, it needs to be run regularly in order to ensure all parts are working when you really do need it.

Dems don’t even try to disguise their intent/behavior at this point. Why should they? If there are never negative consequences to the corruption and intimidation, it just emboldens them.

We must win beyond the margin of fraud, intimidation, and recounts!

4Grace on November 6, 2012 at 10:49 AM

The judge should have sent in State Troopers, locked down the machines so they could be examined after the polls close, and substituted new ones to be used for the rest of the day.

If they found the boxes to have been tampered with all those Dem election workers should be arrested and prosecuted.

Dusty on November 6, 2012 at 10:49 AM

Philadelphia’s electoral votes should be forfeit.

How much ballot box stuffing occurred in between the time the monitors were tossed out and the time they got back in?

The monitors should get VOTE COUNTS vs VOTER SIGN IN right NOW, or as soon as they get back in. Get the lawyers ready…

The blackpanthers are the implement of our democracie’s destruction, but the wielder of the weapon on this war on our freedom is Obama and his Lackey Eric HOlder.

Must disagree, respectfully. There are things about JFK I don’t care for, but I think he did believe in America. Hell, even Wilson and FDR, with their fascist proclivities (back when fascism was actually a respectable position) did commit the US to war when we were threatened/attacked. But now we have someone who bows to tinpot dictators. No American bows to a monarch. Wilson and FDR can get a pass as it was a newish political theory untainted by the German experience. But not now.
