posted at 8:53 pm on November 6, 2012 by

Welcome news via Mediaite. Expected margin: Fewer than 100,000 votes, but a win’s a win. Possible explanation why?

970WFLA’s coverage on radio makes it seem like Obama will win it.

The -extremely- libertarian radio host said he wouldn’t be surprised.

Hillsborough county is roughly +5 Obama with 85% counted; and it went +3 Obama in 2008.

This is a terrible, but not fatal, sign. My hope is that the Dem GOTV was inordinately successful in this county.

Also, perhaps the final 15% precincts are conservative. (who knows)

Would be sweet poetic justice if Obama lost FL — and the presidency — due to alienating hardcore Dem Jewish voters.

poetic justice indeed.
Hillsborough is not proving to be the bellwether it has been. Vote exactly tied for all Florida at 9:13. About 64% reporting.

Yep, If Romney could keep the Jewish vote below 70% then he would win the state. 66% would be a serious under performance by Obama.

What about Ohio?

Wow, Chuck Todd’s a freaking moron. There’s literally only one Republican county left with any noteworthy number of votes to report and it’ll narrow Romney at best around 50,000, bringing the race to a “Tie” with a significant portion of Miami-Dade left to report. Romney’s not getting any votes from there, it’ll be close and go into a recount but Obama will finish tonight with a minimum of a 10,000 vote lead.

Both sides agree to be wrong and fly into the side of the mountain.

That’s a different thread. This one is Florida. Use the clicky thing under your hand.
