Video: Romney’s entrance at enormous Pennsylvania rally

posted at 1:01 am on November 5, 2012 by

These 30,000 Keystone State voters seem…fired up and ready to go, to borrow a phrase I think I’ve heard somewhere:

The Rocky theme was a nice touch.  Turnout, turnout, turnout. (UPDATE – the full speech is available here).

For all you idiots who still say, “There’s no difference between the democans & republocrats!”

Here’s a healthy eff you.

mattshu on November 5, 2012 at 1:21 AM

This is only the beginning.

Think “Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day” on steroids.

Myron Falwell on November 5, 2012 at 1:21 AM

There is something really cool about seeing hordes of people gathered together waving their little American flags.

LukeinNE on November 5, 2012 at 1:22 AM

Tingles point out yet that the “Rocky” theme is just a dog whistle about beating up black guys? Or did he just look at the size of that crowd and crawl into a corner, drinking and crying?

Gingotts on November 5, 2012 at 1:33 AM

You know what I love about this?

It’s not cheering for the man, Romney. It’s cheering for the fact he loves the country that all these people love so much, too.

duanesm on November 5, 2012 at 1:43 AM

Gives me hope.

blue13326 on November 5, 2012 at 1:53 AM

Gingotts on November 5, 2012 at 1:33 AM

I think I’ll go with Rocky IV and say that it’s a dog whistle about beating up communists.

Ready and waiting to cast my vote in PA tomorrow for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. I swear I’m so nervous that I feel sick to my stomach about this election. They really seem to think PA is in play, but I’ve heard that story before.

LawnGnomeFanFirst on November 5, 2012 at 7:15 AM

Please, Mitt, deliver us from this horrible nightmare.

petefrt on November 5, 2012 at 7:23 AM

Man, there is something big going on out there.

President Romney has a nice ring to it.

NYconservative on November 5, 2012 at 7:27 AM

The Music at the beginning of the clip is the theme from “Airforce One”. Now THAT music brings tears to my eyes!!

Markvike on November 5, 2012 at 8:00 AM

That was freaking awesome.

48 hours from now he is going to be our new president. God willing.

One Fairfax, VA voter, ready and eager to stand in line for three hours to vote Romney in.

Washington Nearsider on November 5, 2012 at 8:13 AM

“low enthusiasm crowd”

Can’t wait to vote tomorrow

Animal60 on November 5, 2012 at 8:37 AM

Wow! All these campaign rallies with 30,000 plus attendees are amazing! I have never anticipated an election like this in my lifetime, it’s invigorating, but extremely nerve racking. I have to admit that I’m not only nervous about Romney not winning, (although I think he is going to), but about what happens in the streets of some of our cities when he actually does win.

Susanboo on November 5, 2012 at 8:40 AM

Mitt’s crowd chants USA, the Won’s crowd chants O-ba-ma.

Kissmygrits on November 5, 2012 at 8:50 AM

but about what happens in the streets of some of our cities when he actually does win.

Susanboo on November 5, 2012 at 8:40 AM

If they don’t have the energy to go out and vote for Obama, they surely won’t have the energy to go out and riot due to his loss.

ButterflyDragon on November 5, 2012 at 8:56 AM

I sure hope you are right. But after reading some of the things these lefties have posted on-line & on Twitter, it really makes you wonder.

Susanboo on November 5, 2012 at 9:05 AM

Made me cry – was emotional to hear such stirring music and see such a GREAT crowd. Romney must win for America! Just heard on the news a survey was taken and that 2/3 of the non retired working persons are in fear they will have no money to retire. Same goes for savings…they are living paycheck to paycheck. These people are not going to vote for Obama, surely.

WiRichey on November 5, 2012 at 9:11 AM

In this video, Mitt is arriving from the I-X center in Cleveland Ohio where he spoke, yesterday afternoon (9-4-12), to an equally supportive capacity crowd of 10,000.
It would have been bigger but that’s all the parking lot could hold.

esblowfeld on November 5, 2012 at 9:16 AM

The Rocky theme was a nice touch.

But… Rocky loses.

LukeinNE on November 5, 2012 at 1:22 AM

Yeah. That is one difference I see between rallies for Obama and Romney. At Romney rallies the hordes wave American flags; at Obama rallies the whordes wave their Obama/Biden signs.

ButterflyDragon on November 5, 2012 at 8:56 AM

I hope they don’t have the energy, for either. I see Yahoo, Youtube and the like are ramping up their exposure of Obama in these final days hoping to ramp up enthusiasm for their dear leader.

So nice to see a crowd holding up American flags and not “FOWARD” (sic) signs.

How can Penn. vote for someone who wants to shut down the coal industry??

I wonder how Axelrod’s going to look without his moustache?

Kenz on November 5, 2012 at 11:40 AM

It made me cry a little bit too WiRichey. This election is for the whole ball game of life for my family. It’s about whether or not the economy will get better so maybe my husband and I can find jobs (we’re both unemployed). It’s about can we get rid of Obummercare so our disabled child can get the health care she needs. And it’s about are we going to have any money left for retirement if we can’t get rid of Obummercare because we might have to spend that money to get our child health care if Obummercare cuts off her care. Will we have any money left to pass on to our children or are we all going to just end up in poverty? Which is what will happen if we can’t get rid of Obummer.
