Temperature Rising In New York

No, it’s not global warming. It’s the frustration of New Yorkers all over the five boroughs that thought Barack Obama and the federal government was here to help. Instead, they have this.

People are panicking on Coney Island, Staten Island, and parts of Long Island. The President already conducted his ‘Mission Accomplished’ air tour of the Jersey shoreline earlier this week before going back out on the campaign stump to say exacting revenge would be to vote against Mitt Romney.

If conditions on the ground continue to deteriorate for the next four days in New York, will the remaining few undecided voters in the country think to themselves, “Hey, this guy is no better than Bush was in Katrina,” and give Governor Romney a try?

By the way, shouldn’t al Qaeda be the subject of revenge talk instead of an American political opponent? For close to seven hours, it seems to me the President had the perfect opportunity to exact revenge for the death of our ambassador in Benghazi. He even had a target lit up so he could press his favorite switch – the fire button on a drone…if only the drone flying overhead had been armed.

I was at the local tire place to change to snow tires earlier today. The TV was on in the lobby (CNN) showing the calamity in NYC. People sitting around me were just gasping and shaking their heads in disbelief.

The Sandy aftermath is a diaster for the president.

Bloomberg has more money than brains and Obama has more education than common sense.

God help us all.

It’s the frustration of New Yorkers all over the five boroughs that thought Barack Obama and the federal government was here to help.

They were misled.

Ah yes, Ronald Reagan’s nine most terrifying words in the English language, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

Gee, the press was all over Bush for the way he handled Katrina, yet what are they saying about Oblama and Sandy?
