Ryan Coming To Minneapolis

posted at 7:11 am on November 2, 2012 by

Is Minnesota in play?  Is it just a head game Romney is trying to play with Obama?  Or just wishful thinking?

I dont’ know.

But Paul Ryan is going to be in Minneapolis on Sunday.

Place your bets.

Gophergirl will be so happy. 🙂

Interesting. I just don’t see Romney as the type to waste money just to rattle Obama.

BettyRuth on November 2, 2012 at 8:09 AM

Having lived in MN, it’s a great state with many solid, hard working, God fearing people. Early on, I thought MN might be in play. Let’s hope.
BettyRuth, I think you are right!!

Good point. Maybe it really is in play. Hmm.

I don’t think people don’t understand why the GOP is trying for states like WI, MN, MI, and PN… it’s not about this election but about future elections. If the GOP doesn’t start capturing these states then they have no future starting with 2020 or so. Even if the GOP gives into amnesty, the Hispanic ceiling will be 40% at best and the GOP has no choice but to try to grab white dem states.

RR gets more benefit than just the presidential contest in Minnesota. Ryan’s presence in MN will probably get picked up by western Wisconsin TV/newspapers and will cause resources to be expended by Obama’s campaign.

STL_Vet on November 2, 2012 at 11:43 AM

Hooray for gophergirl! You have been so faithful and positive. I’m glad Oklahoma is solid red but no one comes to see us. I’ll be watching your state anxiously Tuesday nite!
