Happy anniversary to Jon Corzine’s $1.6 billion bankruptcy

posted at 2:49 pm on October 31, 2012 by

Today marks the one year anniversary of former Senator Jon Corzine losing $1.6 billion in private investment funds, or in other words, the bankruptcy of M.F. Global under his leadership. Remember, Corzine is the guy who President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden turned to for economic advice four years ago and the same guy who helped craft the now worthless $1 trillion stimulus plan. Not surprisingly, Corzine won’t be prosecuted by Obama’s Department of Justice for the loss.

Yeah, that Corzine is an economic genius.

Once Obama is sent packing to Chicago in January, I truly hope Corzine gets arrested and prosecuted. The stench of this case smells all the way across the country.

Bernie Madoff Jr. should be serving time…..a lot of it.

Note, this is not just a risky trade gone bad resulting in bankruptcy. This is the brokerage using money from investors’ accounts to try to shore up losing positions in its own proprietary trading. It is conversion. It is illegal, and no one at the firm is facing criminal prosecution.

Team Romney missed the boat and should have made the Chicago Corruptocrats an issue here with a Corzine/Hopey love pic among other things. Just a reminder to the dumbocrat faithful their side is even dirtier than what they purport Rs to be.

This was the most appealing aspect of Sarah Palin – and why she was truly hated by these DC Insiders.
Cleaning up the DC corruption- restoring accountability. And lately we find out Crony Joe Biden Brother who under the most dubious circumstances lands a $1.5 BILLION contract for a company with little track record in efficiently living up to this contract. Its legalized embezzlement.

And nobody is even talking about it anymore. Sad.

There are some pretty good ads running on the Philadelphia stations tying some New Jersey Democrat politician to Corzine (who was formerly the governor of NJ). Smart move.

Yeah, that Corzine is an economic genius.

You really do have to be pretty smart to “misplace” $1.6 billion and walk away smelling like a rose.

HEY! In Chicago, you pay for protection, you get protection!

Amazing, after all of Eric Holder’s digging, he couldn’t find out who gave the order to transfer $1.6 BILLION from one account to another! It was MAGIC!
