Upstaged: Shirtless Man Rollerblades Through Hurricane Wearing Unicorn Head

posted at 5:39 pm on October 29, 2012 by

Earlier a shirtless man wearing a horse head was filmed running through Washington D.C. during Hurricane Sandy. Now, a shirtless man wearing a unicorn head (which is really just a horse head with a bayonet attached to its face) has been spotted rollerblading through Hurricane Sandy some where on the East Coast. The unicorn man is pretty impressive and even rollerblades backward at one point. I wonder what kind of creature we’ll see next…

UPDATE: It looks like the masked unicorn is this guy, @dtra on Twitter.

Where were the girls that were this easy to impress when I was dating? ;)

Get out there and do something crazy, Katie. Do it!

Katie should put on an Obama mask and jump down the street on a pogo stick. Do it!

White shirt too.

Good grief! The trees are hardly moving!! We Floridians see worse during a typical summer thunderstorm. Are you sure that guy is anywhere NEAR Hurricane Sandy??

I love the top picture on drudge right now?

What? Almost 9″ of water? The horror!

That is the lamest hurricane ever. I mean, seriously… I pee harder.

I live in Southern California. You see this shit all day. Of course, actually wearing shorts was new twist…

I know Atlantic City is getting hit pretty hard with massive flooding and the barrier islands will probably suffer major problems as well. Sandy could still cause huge problems to the NE over the next 24 hours.

But DANG, if this is all Washington, DC is ‘suffering’ then they have NO call to whine about ANYTHING!

Kirin on October 29, 2012 at 6:03 PM

I’m just glad the federal government created national flood insurance. It’d be a real shame if rich white people who live by the coast had to pay for their own home repairs. :( Black inner city people should do that for them.

Disaster averted!

And the deadbeat goldbrickin’ gubmint workers got a snow day.

You know it’s up north. Cuz only northerners would rent a bike.

He needs a laser attached to his head.

The whole DC area shut down (though I still went to work). I don’t really get it — so far this is like a normal storm back in the Californian Sierra foothills.

odds of seeing a unicorn in a hurricane? better than a tax increase creating jobs.

He’s rollerblading in the Petworth area of DC, 4100 block of 9th St NW. It could have been earlier today, when it was just raining and not really windy. Now we’re feeling Sandy, and not in a good way.

MKH, how do you know what brand of in-line skates the person is wearing? Brands aren’t verbs unless you’re writing ad-copy. This is J-school stuff.

I am not a meteorologist, but it appears that the wind is blowing at maybe 15mph with light rain. I seem to remember reading somewhere that a Hurricane has winds in excess of 74mph.
