Verlander is tough – but hopefully Zito will baffle ’em with bullshiite.

There were a couple of Giants that busted Verlander in the All Star game, (one of them is no longer on the roster), but Sandoval nailed him, which is why the NL has home field advantage.

PANDA AGAIN!!

TarheelBen on October 24, 2012 at 9:15 PM

Do you get the feeling that the Tigers, (and Verlander) are just now realizing that the Giants are not the Yankees? 2-0 GIANTS!!!!!!!

UPDATE: Reggie who? Panda’s got two HR’s…Giants up 4-0

Rovin on October 24, 2012 at 9:17 PM

Someone check the history books. How many players have homered in their FIRST TWO plate appearances in a World Series?

TarheelBen on October 24, 2012 at 9:49 PM

HISTORY BABY!!! The Panda does it again!!

TarheelBen on October 24, 2012 at 9:57 PM

lexhamfox on October 24, 2012 at 9:58 PM

Reggie who???? Pablo Sandoval THREE HOME RUNS!!! GIANTS UP 6-0

Verlander done! Four innings, six hits, 5 runs, all earned.

Rovin on October 24, 2012 at 10:02 PM

Babe Ruth did it twice; Reggie Jackson; Albert Pujols – and now Pablo Sandoval!

TarheelBen on October 24, 2012 at 10:42 PM

As much as I can’t stand McCarver, he made one misstatement that I actually liked when he called him Pandoval … you know someone is going to make big bucks off of that.

And, TarheelBen … greetings from Chapel Hill!
