Who’s that on the surfboard? Hard to see.

CurtZHP on September 6, 2012 at 12:59 PM

Could be, the guy on the surfboard(R) gets killed by the wave too.

Exit Sandman.

(apologies to Metallica)

That’s Romney on the surfboard riding the wave to victory.

1921 C DRUM on September 6, 2012 at 1:29 PM

It is supposed to be Romney/Ryan on top of the surfboard. I kept going back and forth the their sizing and finally made them smaller in order to provide scale for the massiveness of the wave.

Oh well! I learn with every cartoon what reads and what doesn’t!

Heh!

Should have strapped a pet carrier to the top of the board.

Is Ryan doing P90X while surfing? That would be impressive.

OneFreeMan on September 6, 2012 at 3:00 PM

Of course Paul Ryan is! I should have had him doing a Crane on the surfboard, but that’d be really hard to read.

(I’m in my 3rd week of P90X. Ow ow ow.)

I assumed that’s what you were going for, but yeah larger figures would help that one better, especially with such detail in it.

Sarjex on September 6, 2012 at 4:14 PM

Congrats and keep it up! My husband’s tried it a few times, but now he’s working on regular P90. It’s supposed to be more accessible for those who aren’t already in shape. Although he’s about as far in with that one as you are with P90x, and he’s already bored. So maybe you prefer P90x.

Love the cartoon though I wish I could share the optimism.
