I am tired of the politicians basing their decisions on Roe v. Wade while we sink deeper and deeper into debt. It’s time to move on.

It seems to me that what happens is that the radical anti-life leftists make it an issue, and then the moronic wing of the pro-life section yells even louder.

Now we have teh stoopid from both sides yelling and in the meantime, nobody cares except the media.

That’s a pretty accurate summary.

Don’t get me wrong – there is plenty of genuine outrage on both sides. But IMHO, there’s a lot more noise from people who just get frothy-mouth outraged as a hobby.

This is where I split from the religious right. I’m very against convenience abortions, but making it the #1 issue every election is a hopeless battle.

Yep…50 years old, male, watching savings get eaten up by inflation, mulling over the next time I can find a job….wait, I think I’ll run out and have an abortion!

It’s been the better part of half a century later, and still no hope in sight of repealing Roe or otherwise delegating the issue back to individual states. People are tired of the constant debate (it gets nasty) and/or really do want abortion legal…poll results notwithstanding.

If some people are such airheads that they’re expecting to get pregnant without wanting to, then why don’t they just focus their severely limited faculties into trying to concentrate a whole lot more on THAT — instead of going into politics and trying to tell sane people how to live their lives?

But how could anyone be violently pro-abortion? If some people are such airheads that they’re expecting to get pregnant without wanting to, then why don’t they just focus their severely limited faculties into trying to concentrate a whole lot more on THAT — instead of going into politics and trying to tell sane people how to live their lives?
