Obama's numbers are down across every demographic, even amongst blacks from a high of 92% down to 84%. Unemployment among blacks is at 27% according to one article I read, if that's true, I have to believe that they will begin to figure out that govt giveaways aren't going to fix the problem and they will be willing to listen to other solutions to help them out their financial distress. Solutions like those of Herman Cain, he is a role model for anyone who wants a better life, especially blacks. Bottom line here is that I think alot of people have been seeking the truth for a long time regarding politics and the role of govt in our lives and the hard times we're on right now are finally starting to shed light on that truth. That truth being that the only way people can pursue happiness is to be personally empowered through their own sovereignty to take risks and to succeed or fail according to their own decisions without the federal govt getting in the way or restricting their choices. Herman Cain understands this, he embraces it, he lives it and if he gets the nod, he'll take Obama to the wood shed in any debate.
I know the joke is supposed to be that his approval rating is still that high in the black community, but really, a drop of that many percentage points is a pretty serious indication that he's sinking like a stone. Maybe even more so than the non-race based fall in approval numbers.

Karl Rove said once that if 1 out of 100 black voters in NC in 2008 don't return to the polls in 2012, the Republican gets the nod in NC by twice the margin by which 0bama won NC in 2008.

0bama didn't win because African-Americans came to the polls in 2008. He won because African-Americans loaded their cars with all their friends and relatives to go to the polls in 2008. If even one passenger in one car in 20 doesn't make it back to the polls next year, fuggedaboutit. Even a slight diminishment in black enthusiasm for 0bama was always going to doom him in '12.

This is why my personal state-by-state analysis of NC, IN, and VA put them back in the red column. Much of 0bama's win in 2008 in these states was due to unprecedented and unrepeatable turnout from African-Americans and college students.
