New liberal online game: “Tea Party Zombies Must Die”

The bloom is now officially off the rose. The myth that Democrats and liberals stand for peace and tolerance, while Republicans and conservatives are gun-toting lunatics has been exposed by a new online game.

Titled “Tea Party Zombies Must Die”, the shoot-em-up RPG allows liberals to take out their political frustrations by gunning down prominent members of the Tea Party and FOX News Channel personalities. The latter includes veteran journalist Brit Hume, who is one of the fairest and most open-minded journalists living, but I suppose all conservatives look alike to liberals. (Screen grabs can be viewed here.)

The game is the creation of StarvingEyes Advergaming, a Brooklyn-based company, whose CEO, Jason Oda, told Stephen Gutowski of the Media Research Center that the game “was just a personal project. I am not worried about it effecting business.”

As Gutowski reports, StarvingEyes was worked with major clients such as Hotels.com, MeowMix, TLC, and Motorola. Their funeral, right?

…but does it have achievements?

Just so I’m clear… this means that it’s okay to put out a game called “Obamabots must die”, where players gun down, blow up, and otherwise destroy robotic versions of various liberal politicians and media figures… right?

I bet that Sencion guy who just shot people up in Nevada played Tea Party Zombies Must Die, and that’s why he ran amok with a firearm in a public place.

The problem here is that they do not think of Teaparty people as human. It isn’t wrong to kill undead monsters. It’s not even violent in a real way – it’s self-defense. Which of course is why they don’t see the hypocrisy, when they kill teapartiers in fantasy, they’re protecting themselves, whenc onservatives kill them in fantasy, they’re violent extremist monsters.

You know, I and others have sent some e-mails, but I think it would be more effective if someone with a larger “voice” contacted some of these companies to find out, for the purpose of constructing an article about the subject, if they were still doing business with purveyors of murder fantasies about public officials?

I received the following response from Pepsi:

PepsiCo does not have a relationship with Starvingeyes, nor did we authorize use of our brand on their web site. The Pepsi advertisement dates back to 2006, and has been immediately removed. PepsiCo does not support or sponsor Starvingeyes, nor do we endorse any games or opinions expressed on the gaming site.

I guess they’ve been getting a lot of emails… I didn’t even mention Starvigneyes by name when I contacted them.
