Lefty reaction to the death of bin Laden

Another prediction. Ready?

So we finally got bin Laden, right? So now, you should be satisfied. We should immediately pull all our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq and bring them all home. Because we won, right? bin Laden is dead, so you chicken-hawks have now had your revenge. That was what you were after, right?

(Uh, Libya? No, that’s not the same. Ought to keep going on that one.)

That’s an actual lefty tweet…they are all doing variations on that theme at the moment. So that’s probably ‘the narrative’ for sure.

We on the right can certainly give Obama credit for competently continuing the war on terror including maintaining our victory in Iraq.

I’m listening to Opie & Anthony this morning on XM, baiting liberals down at Ground Zero (where the Today Show’s cameras are) into politicizing OBL’s death into a victory for Obama over Bush. You can tell they’re celebrating because they really believe nothing else between now and November 2012 is going to matter in Obama’s re-election campaign, and that they’re happier because they see this as a victory over Republicans more than a victory over al Qaida.

All 0bama needed to do was not defund the guys doing the hunting, sign on the dotted line when they presented the intel to him, and let them shoot the guy instead of breaking their butts to bring hium back alive.
