No, the Tea Party is not going away

In fact, it appears they are only getting started in reminding the DC establishment and now the 50 states about what their concerns are.  I can only go back to the Harry Reid interview on Meet the Press after the election where he states that the tea party will basically go away because the economy is getting better.

Not so fast.  The post-election tea party has now evolved into the watchdogs of the state and federal politicians that they gave victories to.  The tea party now expects this new breed of politicians to adhere to their campaign promises (yes, I know) as well as tackle the real problems and actually do something about them.  Actions indeed speak louder than words, and in this case they directly affect our nation’s fiscal future–among other things.

Watch.  And listen.  H/T Caleb Howe

First, Miami’s Cuban-American Republican mayor gets the smack-down from voters in a recall petition, and then this:

Two former leaders of the Oakland County Democratic Party are facing a total of nine felonies for allegedly forging election paperwork to get fake Tea Party candidates on November’s ballot.

All this for some irrelevant political movement? I don’t think so. The Tea Party puts the fear into both Republican and Democratic free spenders. I believe the Party will stay strong until we have no national debt. (Yeah. Eternity)

We are not going away! We are GROWING. We have plenty to do and BOTH parties to watch. They hope we would go away but we have Change that needs to be done. We have no leader but we do have a step by step guide. The Constitution, yes we do believe in Individual liberty and GOD given rights. We are extremists, Just like our heroes the Founding Fathers. We come from all classes, cultures, and races. We are respecters of Principals not persons. The Principals in the Constitution are our guiding light and the ties that bind us. To destroy us you must destroy the principles we believe in.

I hope they don’t go away. We need them now and until the GOP gets the message. We also need them to road block the
Dems whenever possible. They may need to be better organized though as they will be facing off against the Unions and these are the equivalent of the Public employee mafia.

Sometimes I think being disorganized is an advantage. Makes us harder to attack, no leaders to vilify.

We’re not going anywhere. IF the economy is getting slightly better, which I doubt, without us constantly yammering at them, the politicians will just go back to their eternal ‘tax & spend’ mode.
