“Two Protests” or “Pick Your Outrage”

Got invited to a Sept 11th type gathering here in SF. Since in San Francisco it’s not a gathering unless there’s a protest and the outrage dujour is the potential Koran burning.
I think the Koran burning is a repellent idea because I have a visceral reaction to the very concept of books being burned…but what really amused me about the invite is that most of my SF friends who are going to be at this protest are also sneering at the 70% of the country who think the Ground Zero Victory Mosque is a bad idea for being a bunch of bigoted rubes.
