What an ignorant attack on an ally. McCain’s not perfect, but his 82% lifetime rating by the American Conservative Union is pretty good. Why not use your ammo on DC politicians with below-50 ratings? There are hundreds of them.

@itsnotaboutme: I think most of us agree that we should unite behind a GOP nominee in a general election, RINO or not, but if we can’t make fun of him when he’s funny (like McCain declaring “i’ve never claimed to be a maverick!”) then no one is even going to want to play the game.

@Sarjex: I like the shirts, especially the “Rogue” design. However, my wife tells me I’m not allowed to buy a(nother) shirt with Palin on it until she starts an actual campaign…

If only there were some way to be recognizably McCain and be a rhino. The rhino in the elephant suit would make a perfect metaphor for the maverick RINO casting himself as a steadfast Republican.

It’s the same one many are making, especially those on the Left. To deny that McCain repositioned himself to the right of the vast majority of his own positions, even going to far as to pretend he’d never called himself a Maverick, is to be truly ignorant or delusional.

Once again, right on target!

This is the attitude which ensures that our already daunting task of trying to dismantle the statist juggernaut will continue to be further hampered by backstabbing opportunists such as McCain, Graham, Snowe, Collins, et al.

The problem is with John’s 18%. No one is perfect. But your grandpap that runs around drooling with no pants on in the backyard is way different from him walking around town with no pants on.

And John picks the worse times to walk around town without his pants on.

ITs Useful Idiots like John and other RINOs that give republicans a bad name. Vote them out with their Democrat buddies!
