All-Purpose Democratic Party Quote of the Day

posted at 5:28 pm on August 16, 2010 by

Really doesn’t matter what the topic is, about whom you are posting, or whether you agree with the substantive policy position or not.

Just insert at random into blog posts on almost any topic, and it will work like a charm:

“This just makes the Dems look weak, unorganized, cowardly, and unwilling to take a stand for principles they plainly believe in.”

Contest: Name a topic, person, or policy as to which the quote will not work.

Never has such a short Greenroom post packed such truth within it.

Eat your heart out DocZero, you verbose windbag! ;-)

I believe Barney Frank to be reprehensible, disdainful, unscrupulous, crooked, vile, mean-spirited, perverted, grumpy, boorish, & devilish, but he’s certainly not

weak, unorganized, cowardly, and unwilling to take a stand

He meant Dems, not individual Democrats. They can look just fine by themselves but when each of them are tripping over each other to run in random directions, thus is the comedy of the statement revealed.

This only works if you think Democrats actually have principles that they believe in.

Oh, they most certainly do. People like Joe Stalin and Adolph hitler are called “strongmen,” but of course they never REALLY took over any country single-handedly. They were supported by thousands of people who believe in collectivism as strongly as any Muslim fanatic.

The problem is that Democrat leaders can never, ever, let Joe Public find out what their principles are.

It’s easy for Democrats to do absolutely nothing but demagogue when they’re out of power. But they’ve been governing at full speed in one direction, and now most of them will have to talk in the exact opposite direction until November — while the President and Senators who aren’t up this year are pulling against them.

I don’t care how much the media try to whitewash all this, it’s a terrific opportunity for conservatives to shine some light on the mess the Democrat Party has become. We only have a few months until they can safely go back to ignoring public opinion again, and we have to make every minute count.
