TLG and I have finished our 2 month tour of the United States pulling our 1945 restored Teadrop Trailer (one of the perks of your significant other being a school teacher.)
It was great traveling the US, meeting people (Hi Ed!), seeing the sights (Fourth of July on the National Mall should be must see on everybody’s bucket list) and sleeping at rest stops and Wal Mart (Thanks Mr. Walton!)
I tried to keep my ear to the ground as to what was going on in the world politically but opted to keep the peace. TLG banned me from listening to Rush and I can only take so much of the BBC and NPR news, so for the most part we listened to audio books. Everything from 1984 to Girl with the Dragon Tattoo got listened to.
Still, there were some stories you just couldn’t miss.
It’s good to be back! Enjoy!

LOL!!Are you sure they are not already taxing cake but plan to tax the frosting separately in the future based on how thickly it’s spread and how much sugar it contains?
