Unprecedented: Calderon Slams US From House Floor. Receives Standing Ovation

Unprecedented, indeed. But, not surprising, given that our own President has done nothing but the same. I’m wondering if Calderon at least read the Arizona bill first, before demonizing an American state. That would actually be unprecedented, amongst our alleged leaders, at least.

President Obama, for once, forewent bowing. Not to worry, though! The Democrats in Congress picked up his slack and went one further. Standing ovations!

For a foreign leader bashing an American state. From our own House floor.

Not only do the Democrats fail to figuratively stand up for America, but they literally stand up for and applaud those who seek to condemn it. Worse, it is condemnation from the foreign leader whose own country is a primary source of our illegal immigration issues. All compounded by the fact that Arizona was forced to try to deal with their immense problem on their own, since the weak-willed and spineless folks in attendance at the Joint Meeting of Congress refused to do so. You know, the very same ones who are breathlessly applauding and jumping to their feet in sycophantic grand-standing, including two, Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder, who have admitted to not reading the 16 page law. Which I’ve read and can comprehend. Granted, I’m no community organizer or an (alleged) lawyer, but still.

Allahpundit at Hot Air notes:

It’s a repulsive spectacle. And as bad as it is, it’s not even the most audacious bit of meddling that Calderon did today. Brace yourself for this.

On the gun question, Mr. Calderón said: “We have seized 75,000 guns and assault weapons in Mexico in the past three years, and more than 80 percent of those we have been able to trace came from the United States.”

He said it did not seem coincidental that violence in Mexico had begun to grow in 2006, not long after the weapons ban expired in the United States.

That’s right. WE are the source of Mexico’s problems, according to Calderon. If only we had weapons bans, Mexico would be free of crime and violence!

On the plus side, at least we can save some tax-payer cash. There is no longer a need for Obama to travel to commence apology tours. Now, he just invites the foreign leaders here where he apologizes and they bash.

From our House floor.

To cheers and ovations. Remember that, in November. Remember who cheered the bashing of an American state and the denigration of American citizens. For passing a law necessitated by the fact that the federal government themselves refused to act. Arizona is just doing the job the federal government doesn’t want to do.

Do you suppose that any one of those pols grasps the enormity, the depth, the offensiveness, the sheer, undisguised hatred intrinsic in that behavior? Do you suppose Calderone has any second thoughts about calling the entire population of this country racist and borderline seditious to their faces? on public TV in our own House of Congress? Do you think that that fore mentioned House sees that a standing ovation for this man is an unforgivable slap in the face, spit in the eye and raised middle finger to a whole population? How could they be so stupid!!! Fall out? Time to write/call your guilty Congressman and make it clear what a callous ass he/she is and exactly why.

For his next foray into the surreal, Mexican President Calderón plans to lecture PETA on animal cruelty from a donkey show in TJ

Those who chose to stand and applaud apparently have forgotten for whom they work. Let’s remind them in 5 months.

Pitch forks and torches time is coming…

There comes a moment when further debate serves no purpose. When shades of gray bifurcate into clear black and white again. You are either part of the solution or you are part of the problem. Liberals are the problem. If you are a liberal or if you identify with their ideology, then YOU are part of the problem. You will never be the solution. Liberal America repulses me. Liberal politicians even more so.

Real Americans… where is your tipping point? When will you tolerate no more? How many freedoms can you lose? How many new taxes will you pay? How much control over your lives will you relinquish? Will you continue to boil like the hypothetical frog in a pot? Liberal politicians *count* on your apathy, your reluctance to be involved, and your necessity to focus your attention on being productive and not countering their attack on your livelihood and liberty. Liberalism, like most evil, succeeds because good people do nothing.

Pitch forks and torches time is coming…

The fact that non-citizens hold so much sway in this matter of illegal immigration is a testament to how out-of-hand the problem has become. Years of failing to enforce the law have resulted in contempt for reasonable laws (such as Arizona’s). This is going to be a very difficult road ahead for us as a nation as we try (hopefully) to restore some credibility to our national and state laws with regard to maintaining our sovereign integrity(ies).
That the president would accept such attempts at meddling in our own affairs as those of Sr. Calderon’s is surreal

Could Achmadenijad(sp) be the next to speak before our learned leaders.

Can someone start a list of the people cheering this moron?
We need to identify these traitors…

On the gun question, Mr. Calderón said: “We have seized 75,000 guns and assault weapons in Mexico in the past three years, and more than 80 percent of those we have been able to trace came from the United States.”

Yes, but what Calderon fails to tell you is that the vast majority of guns seized in Mexico are not traceable, because they are manufactured in places like Russia, the Middle East, and South America, and don’t have serial numbers like those required for U.S.-manufactured guns. So the actual percentage of U.S. weapons seized in Mexican crime activity totals around 17% — but that sounds far less dramatic than “more than 80%” and doesn’t make as good a justification for allowing millions of Mexicans to sneak illegally into the U.S. in order to avoid the drug cartel violence in Mexico. (Hence the distortion).
