Actually, the greatest athletes of all time are our SF guys humping 100 lb of gear in the mountains of Afghanistan, trying hard to abide by certain rules while their opponents play by absolutely no rules. Oh, and no sport athlete (not even boxing) every had an opponent actively trying to kill him.

+1. As much as I dislike our culture’s glorification of war, it disgusts me to see our fascination with muscled oafs whose sole talent is fighting over a leather ball.
