“Start Pushing” or “Reinforcements”

Last night’s midnight cartoon was a bit gruesome though I drew exactly what I felt. Trying to be more positive this morning. As a child from the 80s, I remember Reagan’s optimism and so this morning I’m girding my proverbial loins and getting to work.

Getting Started

Drawn to: “All the Rivers Run” by Bruce Rowlands (Same guy who composed The Man from Snowy River. Yeah, I’m that kind of nerd.)

…and the ants go marching, one by one……hurrah, hurrah

Throughout history there are examples of small groups overcoming huge forces. Hell, our country is a prime example of this. A ragtag band of rebels kicked the arses of the largest, most successful military in the world to create this country.

We’ve got to continue our efforts, refusing to give up, just as those rebels refused to back down even when it looked like all was lost. We’ve got to do what Henry V did at Agincourt. The French troops thought they had it won. They believed no tiny gang of Brits could fight their superior army. Harry and his men taught them a helluva lesson. Apparently the libs in this country haven’t figured out what we were trying to tell them over the past year. Looks like we’ve got to fight through this spring, summer and into the fall and we’ve got to fight harder than we’ve ever done before.

This really is our last chance to take this country back and set it back on the right track. If we fail this fall, we fail every man, woman or child who has sacrificed their lives, loves and blood for the freedom this country once stood for. Whether we’re able to repeal this nightmare or not, we’ve got to do something to take back control of at least one part of Congress. If we don’t, God knows what this president and his thugs will do to us. They’re looking at immigration reform next. They know they’re going to lose this fall and they’re trying to put through legislation to ensure they’ve got millions of grateful illegal immigrants to shore up their waning support.

I, for one, am prepared to fight. But then I’ve got nothing to lose. I’m on the wrong side of the upcoming “review boards” no matter how you look at it. I’m conservative, I have two incurable diseases and I can no longer work at the jobs for which I am trained. When the gavel comes down on whether to treat me with whatever drugs, procedures and/or efforts needed, I have no doubt it will come down on the side of “Your services are no longer needed… move along.”

I intend to fight to prevent that day. I do not want my children to have to stand and watch as some government lackey stamps my papers “insufficient funds to treat this patient.” Of course, the way this administration and government does things, my kids may be too busy working two or three jobs to pay for their taxes and “medical care” to show up anyhow. But I’d like to avoid THAT sort of future for them as well.

To hell with it. I wasn’t wearing gloves before, so to say “The gloves come off..” would be stupid. But you all know what I mean.

The libs thought we were an angry mob before… They ain’t seen nothing yet.

Let’s get a move on ladies and gentlemen, times a-wasting. And it appears the empty suit and his gang of thugs didn’t get the hint the first time.

This is good, but sometimes “gruesome” is appropriate also.
