VIDEO: Rudy Giuliani Campaigns With Scott Brown in Boston

posted at 3:17 pm on January 15, 2010 by

I’m in Massachusetts covering the Senate campaign. Today, “America’s Mayor” campaigned in the North End of Boston with Republican candidate Scott Brown. A vast herd of reporters attended their every move::

As we arrived in front of the Paul Revere monument, Brown joked about the media herd which nearly trampled a golden retriever en route to the park:

Now, Brown speaks about bringing common sense to Washington and criticized Martha Coakley’s negative ad campaign:

Giuliani speaks about the election as a way to “send a signal” about how to deal with terrorism:

Reporters interview Giuliani after the rally:

My interview with a Marine veteran who is supporting Scott Brown:

As he says, “This will be the Scott heard ’round the world.” Right now, I’ve got to run over to Worcester Polytechnic Institute where Bill Clinton will be campaigning for Martha Coakley.

I looked cold there. How dare Brown and Rudy lower themselves to be among the common folk!

As a Scott, I approve of that message. =D

I hope someone got to ask Bill Clinton why he – as UN Special Ambassador to Haiti – is in MA instead of in Haiti right now. Is a balance of power in the Senate a worse disaster than an earthquake in Haiti which has killed over 100,000 people?

Stacy does a good job getting those one minute clips.

From what I’ve seen this week, this is in stark contrast to the notes scribbled on any handy piece of scrap paper that he has handy when he hears or sees something of note.
